25 BEST 2D PLATFORMERS on PC

I was hoping to see a list of 2d platformers. Hollow knight is a metroidvania, Dead Cells is a roguevania, Yoku's Island Express is an MV........just gonna ignore this channel. There are too many List Videos that mislabel games to get views/clicks.

If you don't know what a platformer is versus a metroidvania....that's fine. Just don't expect people who do to watch your videos.

Celeste is my favorite 2d platformer precision game because of its mods and the hardest mod I’ve beaten in Celeste is called “Celestial Madness” it is really difficult and has 15 rooms of torture and it looks really cool! It took 1 hour for me to beat it

I think the popular games shown in the later parts are well known by most of the Plafform fans, so for the lesser known games from this list I can highly recommend Broforce and Huntdown. Broforce is one of my favorite plattformer of all time in terms of gameplay, fun, chaos and chainreactions and Huntdown is also a really good action plattformer. I finished both games and Broforce even gives you a level editor and lots of custom levels from the community. If you want Multiplayer fun with your friends, I can recommend Towerfall Ascension. It has that old bomberman feeling ("come on boys, one more match!").

Ori, Celeste, and Hollow Knight are masterpieces. Hollow Knight being below Gunpoint is a crime though.
