Thank you a lot for this guide, appreciate it.
ОтветитьHoly smokes!!! Thank you soooooo much for this github!! This is literally gold. I really want to level up to mid level. Do you think doing your test/quizzes and building beginner project will get me there?
ОтветитьVery informative
ОтветитьInfinity thank you for you.
Ответитьmany thanks for your roadmap <3
Respect <3
Thank you so much Sir.
ОтветитьHonestly, I've been dancing with PHP for about 2-3 years now for University projects. You kinda gave me a boost in confidence to start Learning Laravel now that my dissertation is over :D ! Thank you
Ответитьthe answer is simple:
get 3-4 years of experience and just call yourself "mid level" ...
then try to pass 15-20 mid lvl interviews and next 6 months improve your knowledge gaps according to the topics you are not familiar with and practice them...
and once you pass the interview - welcome you are almost mid lvl.
next year in your new company work for 12 hrs instead of 8hrs (coz you wont be able to accomplish tasks on time as real middle)
after this you are real mid lvl developer. :)
@Povilas What is your take on Laravel Cert and where would you place the level it takes to pass it in relation to Laravel Roadmap Learning Path?
ОтветитьDude you really are incredible! Pillar of the Laravel community.
ОтветитьThere is a mistake in roadmap on github: Senior Level > Scalable Code > Enterprise Laravel by Matt Stauffer has a video icon. Its slide presentation(article icon)
ОтветитьGood that you called it Laravel Developer. If you want to become mid-level PHP Developer then i think DDD, TDD, CQRS, SOLID is a must.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for the Roadmap & all the good content you provide on regular basis. Just an idead for the Roadmap: I'd prefer if the links would open in a seperate tab instead of the same one. What do you guys think about it ?
ОтветитьHi, Thanks for the Roadmap. It will be very helpful to learning...
ОтветитьThis is awesome
Ответить4 years?? Actually This is my first year with Laravel and I have to implement elastic search and TDD I'm not agree with you we could experience those topcis sooner
ОтветитьThank you for your great videos.
You helped many developer like me. ;)
★ Please sir make a playlist discussing all the topics you have listed here from beginner to expert level. ( discussion with small code snippet will be great)
ОтветитьNo amount of just education can fast track a junior more than experience problem solving and suffering through difficult situations and being inthe muck and the mire with the other devs. Staying late and working withe team is what creates the shared experience and respect needed to advance. Only then do people believe you are dependable.
I remember working hard trying to do a bunch of tutorials cause it seemed like the right thing to do. But until you work a with company and learn their products/services and their processes you never really know how and where you should be spending your energy when trying to advance your career. And it usually comes down to analyzing and understanding the problem and the rules and possible solutions (80%) and only then executing (coding) (20%).
This might sound like management speaking but it is true from a dev perspective.
Great! Thanks bro
ОтветитьYikes! Turns out my 7years of dev experience is more like junior dev
ОтветитьYou forget design pattern for laravel, git, realtime but the list is very good
ОтветитьI want to give you millions of likes!!!
ОтветитьCan there be a video on meilisearch or elastic search with mysql. There isn't any good tutorial for thIs
ОтветитьThank you so much😍. I learned many things from you. You saved my life. Could you make the roadmap for Vuejs and Laravel?
ОтветитьWhat about some videos of how to deploy a laravel project, serverless to aws with bref, that explains connection with database also. I'm lost there.
Excelent your videos, really cool channel!!!
Just checked first 4 lessons of 'tddwithlaravel' and it is horrible - has a lot of whitespaces, I wouldn't advertise such sort of things for 150$ if I were you. It's way below the quality of a content you give for free here on this channel.
ОтветитьGreat video.
It's all about practice in my opinion. Like "Payment" in my country we don't have bank accounts (Master/Visa cards) so we have never experienced payment integrations.
Would be great to see a roadmap for frontend developer but focused on laravel team. Theres a lot of roadmaps but they all leading to js-backend(node.js).
ОтветитьI hope in future to make courses like this plan beginner-level and mid-level and seiner-level every course have a project
ОтветитьWill be nice to make low cost recruiting board of people follow your instructions etc .. keep the good work!
ОтветитьCan you do a real life project from scratch to deployment?
ОтветитьI'm familiar with payment processor integration (Stripe and Paystack), have used jobs, events, observers, queues, scheduled tasks, Jetstream, Testing and Mocking. I have used about 40% of this mid level roadmap and have yet to land my first full time job. This gives me hope. Thanks a bunch, Povilas. I also think the tracking website idea might scale better with a monthly subscription of maybe between $3 to $5 USD.
ОтветитьThank you very much !
ОтветитьThank you for your video.
ОтветитьAm beginning to get addicted to this channel. Great concise content. Thanks.
ОтветитьI don't think it has anything to do with years. I use Laravel and all the topics mentioned yet entry/intermediate and much more since a year and already delivering projects alone suitable for 2-3 membered dev teams.
ОтветитьI really appreciate you creating this roadmap for developers. I'm especially looking forward to it's completion -complete with suggested projects and the entire roadmap.... a true work of service on your part for those of us who want to have a roadmap to help build our own future ... Thanks!!!
ОтветитьNow, I finally have faith that I'll become a Senior Developer in less than 24 months
ОтветитьI would like to make a suggestion: make a video (or series) about SOLID principles using Laravel. Many thanks!
ОтветитьIdea/question: what if I created a website with this roadmap available online PERSONALLY for everyone of you? So you would be able to tick checkboxes for topics/links, add your own topics or notes, and view your progress, maybe I would add some tests/quizzes in the future. Would you pay for such a personal roadmap? I envision it would be a one-time fee of, for example, $29. M?
