Jeff Greenfield: "...one person who loved this piece was Steve Bannon...", Leslie Stahl: "sure, why not? I can't help who loves our piece" That's hardly the point Leslie! Why not indeed, the fact that the interview appealed to Bannon shows that it portrayed his bootlicker, MTG, in the most uncritical and favorable light possible! What is wrong with this woman where she doesn't understand the point of a simple question?

The criticisms raised before the show aired are not important, bringing that up is a distraction from the more important criticisms that came after the show aired! The viewers preconceptions about the show were confirmed by the actual interview! People got the impression from the teaser trailer that the interview was friendly because it was friendly, not because they saw two people talking, talking is what interviews are all about! And Bannon's opinion was based on the interview, not the teaser trailer!

An eyeroll is not a rebuttal and saying that you are not unhappy with the interview, despite all of the valid criticisms, is arrogant! I have lost all respect for her as a journalist! Stahl was as ineffective with her softball interview with MTG as was Kaitlan Collins in the CNN Town Hall with Trump!

I saw the interview. I think Leslie Stahl stalled at this opportunity. Leslie captured MTG as a normal human being, and then proceeded to roll her eyes as an answer, as opposed to having missed an opportunity for MTG to sink her own self. You were lame. Thats all I saw Ms. Stahl, lame. I wonder what would happen if you were to RE-interview her. I do not like this woman, but Ms. Stahl you lost my belief in you as a competitive journalist.

I saw the interview again recently. Leslie didnt push back, but rational people can see the absurdity of MTG's responses and that she wants to rewrite her own past. If you need leslie to push back, then you lack critical thinking. And its not an insult. But she is right. people who love Trump will love MTG. They are already ingrained in the MAGA doctrines.
