Brother...thank you for your service. I am a marine Corps veteran. I served during peacetime and my specialty was not combat arms. However, as per training, I was taught to study my history and I am a product influenced by cold war doctrine. Correct me if I am wrong, but NATO was designed to counter Soviet doctrine and the US was at the forefront of leadership. Heck, maybe I'm wrong, but what's going on is tweaking some serious warning bells in my psyche. Our leadership is failing us in this issue and I'm not talking about just one individual or party. We are divided as a people at the worst possible time.
