ОтветитьI use smartphone connected to OBS studio with basic controls available on OBS 😁.
ОтветитьGreat video Sorin. Thanks.
ОтветитьHello Sorin, greetings from Romania, what are the specs of your microscope?
Zoom:
Sensor size:
I'm going in for cataract surgery in two weeks. I asked for a zoom microscope lens to be implanted in my eye to have robot like magnification without glasses. But of course they rejected my cool idea. Thanks Sorin. How are your eyes these days?
ОтветитьGood morning Sorin!
Ответить🥰
ОтветитьWhy “local computer shop” can’t clean board?
ОтветитьWe have picture...This is crazy... 😅
Ответить👍
ОтветитьU know when a video is 12 mins long is domanoo hoos time
Ответить👍👍👌👌
ОтветитьMicroscope is like #1 tool, right behind power supply and lights, lots of lights on the ceiling. Without lights your eyes constantly adjust when you look around and long term you go blind short term you don't see as well. And these are cheap microscopes we have, if you get into it, cheapest microscope from china with proper lenz coating is about 600 bucks just for the head, clamp and stand is not included in this price. That makes a large difference I heard guys saying. More light reaches your eye because of coated lenzes and design, and you see more. You could see a cracked resistor with those things, whereas with cheap microscope you will not notice it.
ОтветитьVery Nice! 😎😎😎
ОтветитьI was expecting "We have picture! That's craaaazzyyy!" hehe but we didn't get it lol :)
ОтветитьI'm glad you get these laptops to share with us. How come the shops that send them to you don't do these checks?
ОтветитьAlso small things shall not be overseen.
ОтветитьLike a slice of pizza
Ответитьa microscope makes a big difference in boards repair its good to see solder flows to tiny smd components but then i realized that i needed a barlow lens for a larger field of view and a long working distance because i felt that the hot air could easily damage the lens also a rotating arm and a polarized ring light are necessary imo
Ответить1. A Good Microscope, either optical or digital (optical is better for details, but some preffer digital because of neck, back and eye strains)
2. A good bench power supply, one with capabilities of at least 30V 5A to start, and preferably linear instead of switching.
3. Thermal Camera for finding problems faster and easier
4. A good set of tools, solder iron, hot air gun rework station, pliers, tweezers, desoldering wick, soldering wire 180°C and ROSIN, ROSIN IS ALWAYS GOOD 😅
There's more to it, but this one is the bread and butter of repairs. Maybe thermal cam is optional to start, but definitely worth it for easier works and time savings.
nice video , EZ 🍕
ОтветитьGood job mate 👏
ОтветитьNow the computer repair shop has to share their pizza with Sorin.
ОтветитьAnyone else ever wondered if that's Diana's toothbrush ?
ОтветитьI've learned from you so much and you are motivating me to also be a repair guy in the near future.
I also was interested to know what was your background prior to Laptop , Did you took courses in Electronics?
do you use alcohol to clear the liquid damage?
ОтветитьWhat an easy Pizza Hut big sliced pizza. Thanks Sorin
ОтветитьAnother EP🍕 Repair .... Nice! 😃
ОтветитьI bet the moment Sorin sees the amp draw behavior his brain instantaneously tripped the "possible liquid damage" alarm, that's why there was no "we have picture", it was super easy pizza for him.
Ответитьeasy pizzzzzzzzza
ОтветитьMy computer satopped working today the signs are similar but it was working fine yesterday so idk what could be
Ответить" a good board inspection it's a must!" it certainly is and more so when there is liquid damage as the liquid can enter through the bottom vents as well as through the keyboard. Never know what is lurking on either side of a motherboard unless you inspect both sides of the motherboard. As we all grow older our vision needs aids. Whether that is glasses or other things to see clearer..
ОтветитьHey! ive got a question about a semi old ThinkPad laptop ive been trying to fix. Is it normal to have 2K Ohms across the 1V line and ground? particularly when measured from the pins of the mini PCI WIFI card port (without the card in)
Thanks :)
Sorin that was your easiest fix
ОтветитьSorin, sorry I don't know which country to live in to buy your channel membership ?
ОтветитьI've been fixing everything without microscope for the past 10 years but oh man i wish i had one... I need to save up some money in the coming months and i hope to succeed...Soldering TSOP-48s, QFN64s and 01005 components without a microscope is a pain, i help myself with my phone camera with flashlight on but it's frustrating to say the least... Screen FPC connectors are still out of my reach for example...
ОтветитьSo sad you only provide service to UK... My nitro 5 possibly died today...
ОтветитьJesus I had the same problem on my HP laptop. 😭
Ответитьi have same model its completely on fan is also spinning continues but my screen is blank
ОтветитьHello 🤝Good Job 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋👋
ОтветитьGood work nice to meet you engineer
ОтветитьGreat video; we like the easy pizza! Any recommendations for a microscope?
Ответить"Easy Peasy". Great video. Thanks!
ОтветитьSir why are you cleaning the board without disconnecting the battery? Won't it harm the laptop?
Ответить
