Honestly didn't think about this day coming anytime soon. I've only known the swans under Longmire it hurts to see him step down. Not often a coach reaches 5 grand finals and Horse achieved that over 14 years. Thankfully he's still at the club and I'm excited for the Dean Cox era❤️🤍
ОтветитьI honestly felt the same when Adam Simpson got sacked a few months ago given he took us to the 2015 Grand Final despite losing and then winning a flag in 2018 and that I was only 7 years old when he first got appointed senior coach in late 2013 and now that I’m a 18 year old (almost 19 in a few months) seeing the news about Simmo being let go back in July of this year broke my heart
I’m intrigued to see how Andrew McQualter goes in his first season and the recruits of Jack Graham, Liam Baker, and Matt Owies go as well

ОтветитьThe only man to take down the mighty hawks
ОтветитьWho do you think will replace Cox’ position?
Ответить😮
ОтветитьHey. You should enter that fox competition!
ОтветитьGood replacement Dean Cox is intimidating
ОтветитьFunny how the guy who ran rings around your ruckman and every other clubs back in the day is replacing a great of coaching. I watched Cox as a youngster at East Perth and push Gardiner aside, then double team with Nic Nat. I feel proud and old, in fact I watched Longmire at West Coast 35 years ago 😆
ОтветитьI'm a dogs supporter and I respect Longmuire a great deal. Not only has he led the swans to 4 granny's this last decade but the team he created is very strong too. I literally can't remember the last time I saw the swans near the bottom of the ladder. That speaks to how well he coached this team. All the best Riles ❤
ОтветитьHonourable and good man. He carried his bat. All Bloods supporters respect him and his contribution. Handled superbly by the club.
ОтветитьHorse did not “step down”, he got the tap on the shoulder. Wasn’t able to capitalise on having Franklin for over a decade!
