Despite being a disabled alumnus, I was disability discriminated by Rutgers University New Brunswick and its Office of Disability Services. You can read my story on google reviews. Bill Welsh, Carlie Andrews and the Office of Disability Service are among the most evil people in the world. I feel sorry for the thousands of disabled who will get hurt and suffer at the hands of the ODS. To all prospective disabled applicants considering Rutgers: The General and documentation guidelines for your disability as stated on the ODS website determine your eligibility for disability services, regardless of whether or not you are an alumnus. If your documentation falls short of meeting even 1 guideline and 1 criteria, you will automatically be denied access to disability services. Every single required diagnostic tests listed on their website has to at least meet their cutoff scores. If they don't, then you will be denied access to disability services, even if you meet ALL of the general and documentation guidelines as stated on their website. Bill Welsh, Carlie Andrews, and the Office of Disability Services do not care about you, nor your circumstances (financial or personal). To them, you are insignificant, just a number in their eyes. If you do not have ALL of the aforementioned, then they will deny you access to disability services, and force you to give up your hard-earned admissions spot to a rejected applicant. This is the heartlessness of Rutgers University and its Office of Disability Services. Furthermore, do not bother going through the Informal Resolution and/or grievance procedures, as well as the university president and general counsel, and any government agencies relevant to universities/colleges violating the Americans with Disabilities Act. Your complaint will either fall on deaf ears, or they will deem you as the perpetrator, and clear Rutgers of any wrongdoing. One last thing: If you stand up to Rutgers ODS' disability discrimination and their other violations of the ADA, then expect adverse treatment not limited to 1.) telling on one of their several lawyers, 2.) attempts to tarnish reputation. So prospective disabled applicants, if you want to get grades of 'F' on all of your courses because Rutgers' ODS denied you access to disability services, then that is your choice.

Dude, I just applied there early action a couple of weeks back. The college essay prompt I wrote about was talk about an experience that changed you. So I wrote about a time I flipped a giant tub of soup that I thought was frozen to impress a girl that was flaunting me on social media.
