If I knew what I was doing, why would I be watching a video? Also, why are you telling me how a clock works?
ОтветитьAll but those stupid spline drive tools are available at you local hardware store where you bought your saw as well. Cheaper too! Also if your saw is older like mine it's a flathead screwdriver for high/low and idle. Annoying how all these manufacturers are making things unservicable by a competent home owner. Excellent explanation of how to adjust these settings guy. I've had my 455 rancher since 2005! It's a completely different animal from what they make nowadays!
ОтветитьGreat video, simply explained. Great vice, have one.
ОтветитьPull the carb take a Dremel with 2 small cutting wheels on it at the same time and cut a center line on top of both of your adjustment high low screws. Now you can use a small flat head for adjusting the screws. No special spline socket driver needed.
ОтветитьNot really helpful whatsoever
ОтветитьKnow what you’re doing????? Hopefully after this!
ОтветитьI always come back here when 1 of my tools needs help. Thanks again, 2024
ОтветитьThanks. I got my dads 372XP back into working order, now.
ОтветитьIf you blow your saw, you can't call Saul 😂
ОтветитьBrand new 440 18 inch will not start. I bought it on 18 October. It started once and I ran the pea out of it for about 5 minutes. Still haven't cut anything because I can't start it. I I wonder if altitude has anything to do with it not starting in the factory setting. Living in Rio Rancho New Mexico sitting at just over a mile high? Did I mention it won't start? Dang, I'm pissed!😂
Later that day, I turned the idle screw in 1/2 turn, fired right up and starts every time. Not to mention it cuts logs like butter.
Thanks to this video. 👍
Best video I've seen, this guy is spot on accurate, listen to him!
ОтветитьJust came across this video. Best one I've found for tuning a carb. Thanks!
ОтветитьWithout question the best chainsaw tune video in all of cyberspace. Kip and Uncle Rico agree.
ОтветитьNice job on the tune a tool can be made if need be I have done it out of copper very good tune
ОтветитьHey thanks for SCREWING UP MY SAW!!
Your video is Wrong
Im retired and depending how much weed I have smoke is how good the chainsaw turns out!!!! LOLOL
ОтветитьAwesome video! As someine who is just getting into cutting firewood for the new house, i have always taken my 80 dollar ryobi saw to get tuned up. I just bought a poulan 5020 and it needs a bit of tuning out of the box. Great video for someone who is looking to get great information handed to the striaght.
ОтветитьQuestion I have a 455 rancher I got a new carburetor for it because the idil screw strip out. Now you choke it it starts and then shuts off
ОтветитьFor most saw, yes a full turn and a quarter is a good starting point. But other brands sometimes it two full turns, and some cases four. It just depends on the brand. I have run into Husqvarna blowers are like way more turns. But yes a full turn and what ever will work.
ОтветитьThank u guy
ОтветитьNever trust someone that can't even pronounce Husqvarna (hoosk.vaar.nuh) correctly, and wears a ball cap backwards!
ОтветитьThank You
ОтветитьAppreciate it man helps alot
ОтветитьThank you very much my special tool came yesterday. So glad I found your version of tuning
ОтветитьI have been looking for ages for a video that covers the 455 & 460 Rancher saws.
Thank you for making this one and for sharing it with us, it's been a great help.
Awesome video! Thank you! I replaced the carburetor, air filter, and spark plug and I needed to know how to adjust everything from start to finish. (And that I could blow it up with the high end adjustment…😮).
I appreciate the clarity and step by step explanations you provided. Bought the tachometer you suggested using your link.
Thank you!
Thankyou man have the same saw love it and keep up the cool videos and thanks for sharing!!
ОтветитьAND GET THIS I LEARNED THAT SOME OF THE LITTLE TOOL DRIVERS ARE CALLED PAC MAN NO KIDDING CAUSE THE SCREW LOOKS LIKE A PACMAN CHOMPER !!!
ОтветитьThanks for the great explanation. Got the tools you suggested and it was worth the wait to get these. Very clear video!!
ОтветитьI have had my chain saw for about 7 years. It a cheap BlueMax that has worked great. But the last time I used it. I started having issue with it dying after running for about 15min and noticed the muffler glowing. That's usually an indicator of it running lean, I have adjusted the carburetor but it still glows after some time. And tips on what else could be wrong?
ОтветитьHUSKVARNA is trash . Dont buy that garbage
ОтветитьBuild woodgasfire, adjust tube to it, no Benzine buy any more😂
ОтветитьI disagree with using a tachometer to set the high speed. You can't tell if you're leaning it out or not.
ОтветитьVery informative. Thank you for taking the time
ОтветитьI put a new carb on my 455 r is there suppose to be a gasket between the carb and manufold? It looks more like there was a rubber inlay, but the kit came with a ine fits all paper gasket?
ОтветитьGood video and the sound was good. I have watched too many with poor audio 😊
ОтветитьNice work man! Thanks for taking the time and giving a detailed explanation. Just what I was looking for.
ОтветитьNice info. But you have to learn how to say "HUSQVARNA" correctly. Its: Huuuskvarna. Not "Husskuarna. I'm Swedish, so I now.....😂
ОтветитьThanks. Great video! Can’t wait to get him and try this.
ОтветитьHat on backwards says stay away!
ОтветитьA really good video on adjusting the huskavarna engine 😁
ОтветитьGreat vid,, I needed it 30 years ago 😊
ОтветитьThank you,,great guy
ОтветитьHow did it even run with screws all the way in.... I would not recommend doing that. That's is a good way to lean the saw and blow it up. And I dont know why anyone would screw the idle all the way in would be like having it wide open throttle all the time. Probably the only reason it started
ОтветитьAlso every Husqvarna manual I have read says to adjust low then high then idle last. The low screw effect the idle
ОтветитьWell done my friend
ОтветитьGreat video
Ответитьsorry friend, close but no cigars. Run your show without camera, then, record for good.
