This is why I only believe there's a GOAT for each generation, because the game of football has progressed with creativity in each generation. I truly believe if Pele and Maradona were birthed in this generation and the future they would both have still excelled playing the beautiful game of football. Pele and Maradona didn't have the early nuturing of their skills by professionals. But many soccer players today have that advantage.
