The financials for Seaside City don't make sense. Who in their right mind would purchase vs rent? The annual rent equals about 3.5% of the purchase price. So, keep your $67k in the market, make an 8% return on average, pay the rent with said return, and pocket the rest. In an elevated interest rate environment, their asking price makes even less sense. Am I missing something?

The gyms and pools are always empty, it seems. Any particular reason? While the apartments are really nice, I would not want to eat in the "Americanized" restaurants with their correspondingly "high" prices since I am looking to relocate on SSA only. Where are the local food vendors in that area?

I was for month and half in huahin practicing kitesurfing and been to cha am , to be honest I didn’t found it better then hua hin by any means. Hua hin has beautiful beaches and many more restaurants during night to be open, also much better night life. Many big malls as well in huahin. But yes chaam is cheaper and way lay back then huahin. Nice video

Checked this place out a couple of years ago, and… probably the dirtiest beach I’ve seen. Cigarette butts everywhere, dogs and horses along with the associated messy stuff also everywhere and poor sand quality. No barefoot beach walking here. Motorbike necessary. Very little public transport to Hua Hin. And very little shopping, as it’s a small town. I very quickly crossed it off my list.

How much is your car insurance over there?

I'm interested in 1 bedrooms with a good kitchen, cable tv, internet close to the beach, markets, restaurants utilities included for under $500 a month. Any recommendations??

these seaside towns all look so nice in the off season.

I visited cha am for 1 week . It is cheaper than huahin but I did not like the beach , some parts are very narrow, some parts are crowded and most of the beach is dirty . Also currents in the sea are very strong , from south to north, also is crowded as many Thais visit this place

I was trying to find the electric rate on this video, but some how missed it... How about the beds; should we consider them hard? Some places with hide the "true" rent price, especially, in the electric rate. Your videos are great help for us expats, as well; saving us lots money and time ! Love the channel.
