Ventriloquist dolls have always been creepy to me ever since R.L. Stine’s The Night of the Living Dummy. And her origin story is kinda petty. Your feelings got hurt by some little kid so you kidnapped, killed, and turned him into a doll? 😂

Judith was the only one who could have played Mary Shaw what an Outstanding and scary performance one of my favorite films

It is the most refreshing feeling to watch behind the scene moments after experiencing a great horror movie. Judith killed it here. Just seeing one still shot of her ghostly doll form was more than enough to give me chills and delay my sleep sessions even years later.

Dead Silence is one of the greatest supernatural horror movies of all time. The story, performance's, music, images, astomphere, tension, and cinematography was absolutely and positivity horrifying and terrifying. 😰😱 Mary Shaw is definitely and completely a great addition in the horror genre as she will be a excellent horror icon. To this day the twist ending still gives me chills and goosebumps. 😰😱 It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍👍💯😎

After watching this movie, then I come back Annabel or the Conjuring. I was like... is this time I should jump or scared yet? 😑 Totally give up on today's scary movies. Why sth good like this doesn't have part 2, 3... but others above have???
