China Art x Film: A Conversation With Liu Jian

NEW YORK, October 20, 2018 — Following the screening of his film Have a Nice Day, director Liu Jian participates in a discussion with Asia Society Manager of Arts and Culture Special Initiatives Kelly Ma and takes questions from the audience.

The screening was part of the China Art x Film series and the Creative China Festival. The festival includes recent films from China's so-called sixth and seventh generations of filmmakers, including Liu, Li Xiaofeng, Wang Bing, and Yang Mingming. (46 min., 6 sec.)
