Those were some solid fish. That trash is nothing 😆. You should see the river I fish in Philadelphia in the US. We got a good tiger muskie fishery. And some are straight monsters

Its so sad to see so much littering, I try to collect some when I go fishing, but picking up in deep water is way harder.. :/ The only way to solve it is maybe some sort of payment recycling as we have with plasic bottles in Sweden. But if there was with other things like bags, I think it would help... Im kinda worried how sick the fish are going to get in the future, are humans/animals even going to be able to eat fish later on?

Hey mate absolutely love the content watch the videos pretty much same day the get released, I do have a query, is it possible when your fishing on the go pro to have a wider lense setting love to see how you reel in and what sort of movement your doing with the rod, as a brand new pike fisherman id love to see how you do it to see how I can improve!

I love the fact you pointed out the problem with rubbish!!! It makes my blood boil when I get to one of my private venues an have to start clearing people's rubbish before I can start. It's unacceptable in 2025 we still dealing with this issue. Well done for bringing it up.

every time i go fishing a make a point to not only always grab my line clippings and whatever trash i make, but i always grab little bits of trash i find to properly throw them away once i can, i think one of the most important things we can do to take care of the world that takes care of us is to stop littering

Totally agree on the condition of our rivers .
We have a stream running through the farm ,it only has one road crossing it and practically no houses ,yet we het alot of rubbish after the floods .
It can only be from people in cars throwing it over the bridge ... Sad to see.
Also at 11.15 when you start talking about the rubbish is that a tree that has been felled by a beaver ?

The litter problem at some of my favourite venues can be maddening!
Was out briefly yesterday, had a bit of a walk along a local brook that had flooded recently, the high water mark was easy to make out as it consisted of tons of plastic bottles wedged into the vegetation.

Really inspiring videos! Fishing in small rivers, canals and lakes with lures from the bank without tons of equipment is relaxing and great fun. Livng in the southwest of Sweden, fishing this time a year i very difficult due to constantly bad weathet, rain, wind and low air pressure. What is it like in UK? Predator fish seems to be active😀 whats the normal water temparature in winter in UK?

Did you realise you are running a real danger if infection by hand landing your pike, best to use a landing net to avoid injecting e.coli into your bloodstream, plus you are unwittingly broadcasting bad practice.
