This was great,
A lot of hidden gems for those who don’t share the dark side of the hustle.
Most people often turn their back on the truth of how much energy it takes to persevere.
Very nice. Keep it up
So proud of you Sona
👏👏👏
ОтветитьA lot get caught up in the glamorous side only seeing the aftermath, but are not often shown the true raw experiences, passion, and skills it takes to get from point A to pint B. You guys helping reveal it and your experiences will help people and provide clearer vision/expectations of what’s to come. Keep it up 🙌🏾
ОтветитьAw I love it I’m so proud of you sweetie!! And your friend you guys got this!!! ❤😊 keep up the good work you’re almost there
ОтветитьYou guys are inspirational ❤
ОтветитьThis is so amazing. First of all I’m so proud of you both for pushing past personal and societal expectations and norms to pursue a career you love and are passionate about. There are way to many people who are where they are out of necessity without joy and passion. Then, on top of that, you both had non-traditional routes that brought you closer to your goal and ultimately to eachother. There IS someone who needs to or will need to hear this video and know there’s hope. You both are helping future generations of not only dental students but all non-traditional students. So so so proud of you both. Definitely got a new subscriber 💜

ОтветитьThis is such an inspiring video. I live in South Florida graduate with a Comm bachelors degree in Spg 21 and I have been trying to figure out my next steps towards dental school. First Gen and idk anyone in Dentistry! Thank you for the inspo girls ❤
ОтветитьI FEEL SO SEEN! Thank you both for taking time aside for this incredibly needed podcast. I assisted for 8 years before taking the leap to go to school and pursue dentistry. I’m chipping away at my undergrad currently and some days feel like complete chaos but nonetheless, I’m grateful I chose to believe in myself. Again, thank you ladies for this content, you have a loyal viewer here!!
ОтветитьThis is so inspirational and relevant to so many.
❤
So proud of you both, so glad that you are so honest to what you are going to do. You both are so blessed, always respect your parents and get their blessing. 😊
ОтветитьIt is a great podcast . Congratulations
ОтветитьI'm 25, 3 years post grad business major, 2 years into working full time and I can't see myself in a office setting for the rest of my life.
Back in my college days I did consider Dentistry but heard something that discouraged me from moving forward in that path...fast forward to now, I wish I didn't listen and just went with it anyway.
I'm considering going back to school to get all the pre-reqs and DAT done so that I can start the dental school journey. Its a big leap here and I'm wondering if I'll be making the right decision. I have all these doubts in my head wondering if its too late for me or too unrealistic.
Hearing your guys' experience makes me feel less alone so I'm so glad I found this channel!
thank you !!!
ОтветитьOkay so I’ve graduated with a BS in theater and after lots of soul searching I decided after 2 years post grad I want to pursue dentistry. Im now taking some pre reqs only to find out i’ve failed almost every Gen Chem quiz I’ve taken. Im getting a C in the class. I mainly feel like if i can’t pass at least one quiz and end with a C is this really the right career path for me ??? I study hard I do lots of practice and im still not doing as good as I “should be” !
ОтветитьHi Sona and Sweetie, thank you so much for sharing your experience. congrats for starting your journey. A lot of what you all said hits home for me. I'm currently 27, I got my master when I was 25 and now working as a Data Engineer. Been in this role for close to 3 years. It has great potential and I'm grateful, but I just know it's not for me. I've been doing a lot of research on healthcare side and very interested in dentistry profession. I was torn between CRNA and dentistry, but based on my past experience with working as a nail tech to support myself through undergrad/grad school, I learned that I work really well with my hands and truly enjoy the beauty aspect as well. I hope to connect with you guys (will send you both an email) to learn more about how can someone like me (non-traditional) start career in this path. Thank you for sharing again!
ОтветитьThank you for this video as someone who wants to pursue this but look down on by family and friends it’s hard. And to know that it’s not as simple as everyone makes it on social media.
ОтветитьThis is sooo relatable! I am a first gen, It took me 7 years to get my bachelors degree, SO many bumps along the way! When I tell you one thing after another. I assisted for 7 years and quit for a year, gave up due to life coming at me hard, but now I’m back and getting ready to study for the DAT and apply next June. Good luck to everyone on this path!!!
