In my opinion. If this history is about John Meehan, need talk the beginning , the marriage and the time we have relationships and I put him at jail...he stay for 2 years... no body say that, did you know why? Because I am Brazilian and no American. This men destroy my life...

Eric started out on TV in Australia in a comedy skit show called Full Frontal. He even had his own TV comedy show for a season. This is his first TV appearance in the States. Get your facts straight, people. I have some Ozzie friends who'd be right put off for not getting it right. Poida was a hero back in the day.

I have lived through a true life experience with an individual very similar to John. I have wanted to have my experience made into a movie or tv series long before I had ever heard about Dirty John!! . My experience is similar to Dr. John in that the villain is a con artist who manipulates women and uses them just as John did BUT is also extremely abusive to his “victims” who are his girlfriends and wife. The story is 100% true but almost unbelievable for how scandalous it is and how much horror his fiance endured at his hand before she was able to break away from him. Our battle is still ongoing with this man because he is not yet in prison and he is trying to get to their 1 1/2yr old son.

His entire family who had disowned him years ago is now trying to help him get off the charges of assault in an effort to avoid their own dark secrets from being exposed. There is incest and many other forms of abuse that will be exposed during the trial and they are desperately trying to keep this from becoming public.

Deborahs experience is horrible and heartbreaking but when me and my family watched the series we were underwhelmed because it is very mild compared to what we went through with our “John”: our John is also at the beginning of his reign of terror on women since he is still in his early 20s so it’s interesting to see what a “John” is capable of doing when he is in his prime.

Trust me, it’s a wild story that NEEDS to be told! 😱
