Floating for so long I am surprised that it wasn't a go around. Was this the first attempt or had there been previous attempts, if so then probably why they were determined to land this time, fuel must have been getting an issue.

YSSY is about 3500m so probably loads of room for braking still crazy to see though with a busy schedule and an a380 from Singapore a go around was probably more dangerous than continuing to land

Impossible to go around at such a low altitude, with very little airspeed. Flaps have to be fully retracted for a go around, that aircraft is fully committed to land at that stage of the approach.

I haven't flown in a 380, yet. But, I have been in a 747 and the landing was absolutely perfect. This landing looks like I'd need a drink after.

WOW. THAT, IMHO, should have been a go round. The captain should have taken over. Far to long down runway before touching down very heavy landing.

Probably the wildest thing is to land such a big aircraft not centered in the centerline, with few meters away (or this is what looks like) from touching the grass with the RH Boogie! Also touching down after the touchdown zone with that long flare man (probably due to ground effect from flaps)…Amazing capture! That was close!! Thanks for sharing friend!
