Shouldn't have been charged in the first place! Plainly he was defending/protecting multiple people from serious physical injury or death from a man in a violent state of delirium or drug induced psychosis. A man who publicly stated he was going to kill someone; you HAVE TO BELIEVE he meant what he said. Is there no good Samaritan law that protects good citizens from this $h;t?

And in your description of what happened in the lead in you left out a lot of facts that put Daniel Penney in a much better light. You did that intentionally and you should be ashamed! What happened was right and what happened after that is also right the only problem is it took so long for Daniel Penny to be a free man.
