This is a disgrace that the jury didn't aquit him in 5 minutes. That's New York for you. This man is a hero and possibly saved lives that day. In Texas, this man would not have been charged with a crime. He would have had the thanks and gratitude of everyone, including law enforcement.

They are going to convict him. The other jurors are trying to force a hold out to convict, I just know it. My country is not the country I grew up in and this case and many others are THE REASON I do not get involved and do not call the police anymore even when I should. I am a coward. I do NOT want to spend the rest of my life in a state or federal prison for trying to help somebody because my government is FUBARed. There is no logic in our justice system or government anymore and I hate the society that is our country now.

My wife feels that Daniel was and always will be a true American hero. Think for one minute what would have happened if Daniel was not there. And what he was put through ! He really was Daniel in the lions den !
