ОтветитьLove your new hair cut.
ОтветитьWow, your farm looks fantastic! You also look very healthy and happy , congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished!
Ответитьvery enjoyable. thanks 🙂
ОтветитьI just love your videos! Thank you for sharing your farming experiences with all of us.❤
ОтветитьI put geraniums in a paper bag in my cool dry attic for a winter. Just shook off the dirt and put them in the bag upside down. When I took them out in the spring, they looked dead. I threw them in a wheelbarrow for the compost pile and forgot about them. A week and a half later, they had greened out!
And what about shading the geraniums a bit so they grow toward the light? I saw that another flower farmer had done that with some flower, not geraniums.
Great Video ! I'm so sorry but what do you mean when you say the flowers are status?
ОтветитьWhat spacing do you do for sunflowers? To get the small ones etc.. I want to divide my seeds into groups of different spacing for different sizes but it's my first year growing flowers
ОтветитьLove this video- happy for your dahlia bounty and your whole year of amazing flower sales!

ОтветитьYes you can overwinter the scented geraniums plants, but why don't you also take cuttings in the fall and overwinter them in your growing room? The cuttings grow very easy and you will get a lot of free plants like that
ОтветитьLovely tour. We're having constant rain in my part of South Yorkshire, but our days are still mild too, and where other parts of the UK have had their first frosts, we still haven't. Today is still forecast to be 17c, and tonight 13c, with our lowest night time temp over the next two weeks being 7c. Obviously, that can change, but it's the joy of living in a place with its own micro climate, you just never know what you're going to get. Work with what get's thrown at you, and when it's good, take advantage of it all you can!
Ответить🙋♀️💜🌟🍂
ОтветитьI really like your poncho, looks great on you
💐💐💐
Imagine a wreath made of just all that blue static! ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьOooooooooooo, lucky girl, I’m in PA and we frosted 2 week’s ago 😢, sucks and killed my dalihas! Amongst every other frost tender plant. Good for you guys!
ОтветитьThanks for the tour!
ОтветитьIs scented geranium a citronella? Super looks like it!
ОтветитьI’m so jelly I’m zone 6 and not as lucky as you guys! Zinnias gone marigolds hanging in.
Ответить"Twoooo fullll beds!!!" haha that gave me a laugh
ОтветитьThank you for tonight’s members hang out. I had so much fun and loved getting my questions answered immediately.
Can’t wait to see the next video!
Johnny's did trials on many plants in zone 5 and they were able to over winter eucalyptus with tunnels, so straw may be possible.
ОтветитьRe: the overwinters eucalyptus, I've heard stories of people in mid to northern Canada overwintering lavender because the snow insulates well enough that the roots don't go too far below zero. Also, geraniums are SUPER easy to propagate through cuttings. They need lots of light, and they'll keep trying to put out flowers. One of the jobs in our ag-sci class was disbudding the geraniums every day come winters end and early spring.
ОтветитьFive thumbs up!
ОтветитьYour farm looks so good! We had a freak frost last week, got down to 29°F, which is not normal!
Loge seeing your 2nd year eucalyptus. About to put 50 into the ground for next year. Ugh... I was going to cover crop as well but just have not had the time! 😅
Do you ever save seed ? Or always buy in new seed.
Ответитьsome caution with the marigolds. I actually quit a quite pricey flower CSA bc she gave me 1/2 giant marigolds one week. not only that, but she posted all these beautiful other flowers for sale to florists the same week. so I was left feeling like she passed the cheaper flowers off for a 40 subscription, which could have been much nicer. I hate the smell of them, so know your customers. make some with and without bc some folks will leave you and never come back if you push those.
ОтветитьWHY do people say FOILAGE Instead of foliage??!!! Gahhhhh!!!! It drives me bonkers!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHere in Latvia - we had our first frost in early September and killer frost in about 2 weeks - but still have many flowers blooming. Year was so terrible weather wise - cold nights (+10C) all summer and hot days (+33C). But fall is super warm. Everything started to grow in end off summer but somehow - we doing farmers markets with fresh produce. Hoping for warm winter weather 🎉
ОтветитьAwesome video. Loving all the tips
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьWaiting for Flower Face!!
ОтветитьBeautiful flowers, this late, amazing! Maybe the scented geraniums could use a bit of fertilizer?
ОтветитьBeautiful tour! Thank you ❤
ОтветитьI’m in Minnesota and bring my geraniums indoors for the Winter. Sometimes if by a sunny window I’ll get blooms.
ОтветитьStatice Status: Too much! 😂
The "mini strawflowers" are so cute! Are they hardy?
The geraniums should make very good houseplants; they make pink flowers as well.
Please do a top 10 best or worst video at the end of the year, it would be fun to see what ends up on that list
The marygold looks amazing at this time of the year!
ОтветитьWhat kind of scented geranium is that ? Citronella?
ОтветитьHave you heard of the Save Soil movement before? 🌏🌍🌎🧘♀️You might like it🌿🌿🌿
ОтветитьI am so happy to see that you can grow eucalyptus as I am also in zone 5 and I wasn't sure that I could grow it. So excited to try it out!
ОтветитьSo many beatiful flowers you are growing. Definitely will have to grow so many next year myself.
Maybe, if you train you tomatoes with just one or two stems, the procuction may be even better and easier to manage.
Geraniums can be proprogated indoors with stem cuttings. Sunny window.
ОтветитьLove watching your videos and how you just chat so naturally to us. Thank you, with love from Australia xx
ОтветитьI have dahlias in my garden in Germany as well but I'm not having any luck with them in vases. Is there any trick to it? I only get 1-2 days of vase-life.
ОтветитьI live in Zone 6a Western NY. LFD 10/15. Last year my last planting of zinnia made it through a light freeze. I pushed the limit into Nov.! And a hard freeze took them out. I am going to frost cover this year . I'm not a farmer.
ОтветитьScented geranium you can cut the plant and propagate it they easily get rooted and can be planted out early they like the cold
