Oh man, so sorry you’re going through this. I went through a divorce about 10 years ago, and even though it was for the best it was so difficult. For some reason one of the hardest things for me was removing the ring. I felt so naked and like my identity was stolen. You’ll get through it and do amazing things, but in the mean time just take care of yourself. I know, easier said than done, but you’ll get through it. Hugs!

I had a beautiful small horse farm in Upstate NY but after my husband unexpectedly died, i gave it up after several years as it was too much work. While it was awful to send the equipment to auction, i had the opportunity to pack up my seven year old son, a barn kitty and two beautiful 1000 lb boys and truck back home to NJ with me. That was 10 years ago and it was hard at first but now every time a storm rolls in, i am relieved i don't have to go out and batten down the farm! All is well for us and being close to my parents has been a really really good thing for me and my child. All will be well for you. Farms are hard work -- mad respect for you and what you have done -- you will be okay. There is light ✨️ 💛

My food forest kitty's health turned for the worse this year...it's ok to struggle....and experience the stages of grief...we are human...thank goodness.

It's going to be ok ma'am. During divorce, the monsters in us come out and the person you knew seems to have disappeared. Remain in that positive space especially if you have children. You will get through it. In divorce, we find our strengths and weakness and how best to navigate.

As someone that went through this in my late 20s in your similar situation I just want to tell you that you’re going to be OK, at some point. Stop beating yourself up thinking you had any part in it and know that you did your best and that’s all anyone can do. Life goes on it sucks I know, but that will change with time

I'm new here and you don't know me but I promise you: If you know you need a divorce and are engaged in the process: It may feel dark NOW, but it will be better on the other side. Successful, peaceful co-parenting is a thing and amicable reformatting of families happens on the regular among sane people. Best Wishes to you as you transition to a new situation.

When you move to your new place, I hope that you could make a urban Homestead, just planting veggies and flower in you own land even though it's not big as you usually do. I went thru a divorce 10 years ago after 23 years of marriage. It felt like something was dying and I couldn’t do anything to prevent it. I cried a lot - I think because I felt my dreams were dying with the marriage. 10 years later, we all made it thru and found a new existence. Freedom is a good thing 😊
