By Diablo's will, Leah was conceived. And its there where The Witch Adria pledged her allegiance to the Lord Of Terror. Hence Diablo 3's Story.

P.S. I believe that when during the Diablo 2 purge of Tristram A NPC named Gillian the barmaid and The Witch Adria both flee to Caldium. So Gillian end's up raising her but adria actually gave
birth without the kinky thang, that was very weird
