You can see the conclusion of Lilith and Inarius's engagement in the Diablo 4 Act 6 Cinematic. Which quite frankly is one of the best cinematics Blizzard has ever done; and that is saying a lot.

If you do not plan on playing Diablo 4, I would recommend checking out the Inarius vs Lilith cinematic. It takes place after one of the cinematics you have reacted to already, kind of continuing the story. I always enjoy your reactions, keep up the good work.

You should watch the Diablo 2 resurrected cutscenes.

I don't think you guys have reacted to the Diablo 2 cinematics yet? They're really good and would show many scenes from the 3rd lore video here. If you do I'd recommend watching the ones from the 2021 remaster Diablo 2 "Resurrected" as they're much higher quality than the originals from 2000.

In the orginal game, you could select your basic Warrior, Rogue or Sorcerer to play as, these characters were later given actual names as the story expanded with the Warrior becoming Prince Aiden. Making his entire family line the tragic unwitting pawns of the Prime Evil's. 

His father was transformed into the Skeleton King, he was twisted into Diablo's vessal in an failed attempt to contain him, and his daughter was condemed to be a tool of evil by her own mother.

I love Lorath's voice. Ralph Ineson (his actor) also played a minor character on Game of Thrones and is also the voice of Final Fantasy 16's Cid. His career is on the upswing it looks like.

At least split it to chapters, pause it during watching to discuss, try to ask at the end, try to discover something....This is empty nonsence. You tried, you failed. At least for me. Sorry.

There are 2 types of mothers in Diablo.

I love Lorath's voice actor. His voice sounds like someone who's seen a lot of messed up stuff and is tired from trying to fight it all.

Supernatural took the Diablo approach. Demons are bad, angels are bad, people are bad, old wise guy is good.

Tyrael is the goat, the Jesus of the Diablo franchise, dedicated himself to saving us all, even from Death incarnate.

I'm judt dropping this little suggestion here, you guys should watch the Street Fighter 6 arcade character cutscenes. It's a great way to learn about the characters and what's happening in the story.

1. The events of Diablo I and II were more or less all planned out by Mephisto. He found out about the Soulstones and took advantage. The Greater Evils let the Lesser Evils win so that they can get to Sanctuary and , once captured and would fade into myth, they would spread their influence and corrupt a suitable host.


2. Tal Rasha was actually a badass. He struggled with Baal for literally centuries, kept alive only by the soulstone and his own sheer willpower.

One big issue that caused the Eternal Conflict to carry on and basically be 'Eternal' is that neither side could really strike an ending blow. Killing one of the Prime Evils just meant that their essence would return to Hell to reform and renew the conflict again.
If an Archangel was killed their essence returned to the arch and eventually a new angel would be born. Though Hell never managed to kill any of the Archangels due to the fact that they were so unified compared to the Prime Evil's self interest and desire for power over their brethren causing their own alliances to often fall apart at the cusp of victory with infighting.

Other fun fact on Lilith, is that one has to wonder how things would end with her if she succeeded, because as the Daughter of Hatred, Hatred is a part of her being and essence. It is the big motivation and if she successfully got rid of say both the High Heavens and Hell, well what would she Hate afterwards? After all, her 'helping' her children was motivated by her Hatred of the Eternal Conflict and her Father. Someone that is motivated by hatred will always find something new to hate even if it is something they previously cared about.

I commend you guys for being able to sit through that lol. You should watch the cinematics for Diablo 3 and 4

The heroes of each chapter, the heroes who'd slain Diablo alongside Aidan, aner later the ones who followed Aidan as Dark Wanderer all got their own story continuation eventually. And none of them did well.

Phenomenal video as always you two. And Amazing diablo lore. One of my absolute favourite game series. Keep being fantastic

fun fact from real history or at least biblical stories..
The first woman wasn't Eve, but Lilith which was also made by clay as equal to Adam. But she didn't want to bow to anyone was too independent so she left and in fact saduced an angel and got kids with him. I can't recall the angel name but it was technically the first fallen angel and their kids were called nephelems (which were abomination of giants) That God later killed in some stories...there are other variation of that story but there is also that .. from which they probably took inspiration.

The thing that made Malthael and his angels, the Reapers, much more grizzly, is that they didn’t just tear flesh apart, they cleaved the soul away from people and resurrect them as undead with blue glow.
The act 5 of Diablo 3 really made me uneasy, because you walk within one of the biggest city in Sanctuary, and it’s filled with corpses, still or not.
I hoghly recommend to watch the cinematics of Diablo 2 (the game is basically a detective research of that « dark wanderer »), and of course Diablo 3.
You will love Diablo 4 cinematics.

Who is the tired looking little one?

Legally speaking, murder is murder, but philosophically, it’s only murder if it’s done for self serving reasons. If it’s for political reasons, it’s just war. War is justified when peace has been removed as an option. Peace is removed as an option when choosing it means a slow or quick death to you or your people.

This is the best story for Diablo lore by far but i think there should have been abit more explaination of why ppl started to die when Malthael toke the black soulstone. Hes intention wasent necessarily to kill all humanity but rather to destroy any demonic essence in humans so hell would be unable to corrupt humanity anymore. Not all ppl would have died from this as just as we have different amount of DNA traces from different countrys so does the amount of angelic and demonic essence in the ppl changed over time with some having more demonic and some more angelic essence. What Malthael did was he ripped out any demonic essence from ppl which overtime the surviving humans that only hade little demonic essence in them would have been able to resist corruption from hell. But ofc from the perspective of the humans it looked like nothing more then an extinction event. So just as Liliths actions in the beginning was to protect the Nefalims from the renegade angles and demons, Malthaels actions would have protected the now called humans from demonic corruption, those that survived that is.
Its a shame how they desided to show Lilith in Diablo 4 as she has always protected humanity over anything else and this would have been the perfect time to se the player caracter join up with Liliths goal to keep humanity and Sanctuary safe while also showing that we choose to stand with her and not becouse we got corrupted. A quick look at the lore betwinn Lilith and Inarius which Diablo 4 is somewhat about u quickly notice that Lilith is not the evil caracter among those 2. Even after we defeat her she still talks about how all she wanted was to keep humanity safe and that she was the 1 who gave us free will in the first place. This would have been the perfect time to not always have a demon as the main boss other then Malthael.
