How to get the BEST RESULTS with CYBERPUNK 2077 in the QUEST!

Airlink works fine if you have it setup right with the best router. But Virtual desktop is better.

I tried CP w/ the LR mod a while back on my 3070 but gave up... over the holidays I watched several of yr videos and decided to impulse build a new PC (4080) - now I'm running w/ all the same settings you use for your 4090 and it's AMAZING. On top of that, after this video, I switched from VD to using the Link Cable and it's even better!

One question for you - I've avoided using link or airlink for years now because I can't view my desktop - it's just a black screen (but if I look down thru the gap between my nose & headset I can see my pc monitor and can click what i need to that way.) Any idea how to fix this? It's such a pain (and note, I don't have this prob w/ VD or Steamlink)... thx for all yr passion around VR and the modding community!

i was wondering since you have seen both in the headset, Quest 3 with link cable and with a 4090 PC running at 3920X3920, the highest one on CP with all the graphic settings you mentioned in your previous videos (lukes mod) is there still alot more artifacts and ghosting over the big screen or is it just a little more

I can't see the difference between the Quest 3 USB vs the Bigscreen picture quality. Looks the same to me. You should make a video that points out the differences.

you need to disable sharpening under streaming tab in VD (default is 75%) and goin to hv a good time in Cyberpunk ❤

Oh I was going to ask you. Why don't you play in Mono instead of legacy or AER 2? It seems to fix the shimmering/ghosting issue. It does feel weird at first until you get used to it. But it seems like its easier on my 3090.

I play cyberpunk VR on Rift CV1 all kinds of tweaking going on with Oculus debug tool, game settings , mods and re-shade but it looks great. I have a quest 2 and tried to make it look good but could not come close to what I could get in the CV1.

Would it not make sense to switch from normal to quality in the link sharpening section of the debug tool?

Interesting to see such different experience. The router and number of devices as well as some quest strangeness must have played a factor in your Air Link experience.

For me AirLink works as well as Cable link, without any artifacting. I do have a dedicated router for it though.

Were you on WiFi 6E with Virtual Desktop?

im on this 3070 if u know tech u can get everything native

Thanks for the update DR. I managed to iron out most of my issues and its play great. One last issues I still have is I lose performance over time. I tried with VD and oculus air link and its the same. I found that restarting is the best way to restore best perfomance ( like steady 75-80 fps). Have you got anything similar? Thanks

in the last and final option you spoke about with a link cable to the quest 3, is that using steam VR to access your monitor and then your launching the game from your desktop

Don't the settings that matter for games in the "streaming" tab of virtual desktop? Don't know if it's different for flat to vr

Is it Really that much better to have a dedicated vr headset? I have a quest 2 and have had the HP reverb 2, and a rift S. Using the link cable with the quest 2 it looks pretty good. I play at the max resolution the luke ross mod allows. You have me second guessing getting a quest 3.
