We live in the information age, so I find it puzzling that people, interested in how to grow their social media presence, make revenue from it, resort to paying for it when there's tons of free advice and information to be had. Just Google it, for pity's sake.

The only one I did use was vid IQ and it taught me some things I needed to know which was helpful. It is definitely helpful for those that know nothing of the YT process after that you dont need it. This guy on the other hand.. bullocks lol if thats how yall spell it! Im American 😂

Beardo, may I make a suggestion? (If you only do one thing, please skip to the end of the comment and watch the short video I mention. The concept is more important than any of my suggestions…

1st Channel - THEMED: Paranormal, Horror, Debunking, Horror Gaming, etc. -More themed, but still contains a good variety of what can be done due to the two main, connected categories: paranormal-horror.

2nd Channel - Open/Variety/YOURS - Do more of what you like, without restriction. Things like gaming that’s not horror/paranormal-related… Looking at online scams, mental health-related topics, mystery stories, music, interviews/Podcast-style things, etc… I think some people may be interested in learning about some defensive tactics that have been successful in your past career(if you want to share, of course)…

The second is yours.

The second may evolve a theme and there may need to be an adjustment and/or shift of focus down the road, depending on what you are passionate about and may take off at any point in time.

-Honestly, I really enjoyed watching your jump scare-horror gaming a lot and it’s disappeared when compared to how it used to be… I love and hate a little jump scare myself… Yours a great to watch and I often share in your jump scares.

Important Points:
-Take breaks when you need to do so… Self-care is extremely important.
-Don’t hold onto resentments long. Respond, if needed… but don’t let it eat you up inside.
-Charity streams would be cool… I know you’ve mentioned doing it, but I don’t think it necessarily has to be 24-hour. (Also, keep up the Not/Never alone for Christmas streams!)

-Once people start focusing on the algorithm, views, monetization, etc… authenticity starts to go. Looking at analytics isn’t always bad, but worrying about them and letting them drive the channel… make channels and videos feel less authentic and more corporate/business-like (than entertainment).
-Having guests on stream about specific topics?

Ultimately, BE AUTHENTIC. Be true to you. I’ve told you this before, but I think it’s a main reason people are drawn to you. Life is a journey where we are constantly trying to figure out who we are and why we are here… what that looks like, etc… but keeping that central focus on Truth and finding answers to life’s most important questions… all while having fun…
Be authentic and enjoy the journey.

It's ludicrous that people want clicks and likes to make them feel popular and good. It's totally wrong if that is the case - I'm pretty sure it is. Then, of course, the con part. Smh. There needs to be a massive crackdown and have these people punished.

I don’t know if this would be the same or somthing different, but I had two people reach out to me saying they could help my channel grow. One had left a comment on a video and the other email me with list.

So glad you're talking about this! I followed Robert Benjamin months ago when I was first starting my channel. It didn't take me long to realize he was just rehashing the same points over and over, would offer up a new breadcrumb or two, then always directed you to his online course to learn more. He talks like a used car salesman, so fast he slurs his words at times. Anyway, my channel is doing just fine without his "help". Can't wait to see who else you expose for the frauds they are.

Thank you for sharing about Benjamin. He’s popped up into my feed several times. I watched his videos, but something about him really felt off. And that explains why. Glad you’re doing “how to grow” channels. I watch only a few but I follow my own formula and my own technique.

I have little mercy for the victims. guru wisdom and advice should be shared for free. and a real guru has no "followers", he has supporters and believers.

All these videos saying to do well and don't do this are a waste of time. Not only do they not work, but they always aim them at bloggers more. Also I am glad you mentioned VIDIQ as never paid, but I have a few time used their extension on Chrome and deleted it as thought it was killing my channel more. At the end of the day, people type it in what they want to watch, and that's how people get views. Also, a little bit to do with You Tube recommending.

Scams like this are a common thing here in Sputh Africa, but with our laws you can't do anything to these people because you willingly gave them your money
