Cannabis has NEVER killed anyone. Cannabis has many benefits and Like Anything can be misused. Did you KNOW Cannabis actually helps build neurons in the brain, relieve pain and my personal favorite, help with appetite .

this is why you can put these kinds of studies and throw them in the trash can. You cant look at scans which were all done for other purposes in many other studies, without knowing the lifestyle or diet of anyone, and determine that MJ or alcohol were what conclusively caused the rapid aging.

Can you know do a study on natural bodybuilders and let us know how much that accelerates aging as well? I can imagine that accelerates aging worse than cigarettes and I know this will sound dumb to many at first but think about it… you are fast tracking the breaking down of your muscle fibers and also cell replication.

There's a lot of people consuming marijuana and alcohol along with tobacco those three seem to often run together so I wonder if the study has tested what happens when you combine the three or even combine the two of marijuana and alcohol together does it increase the negative effect of one or both

Weed is worse.

In the long run, Alcohol is worse physically, Marihuana is worse mentally. You'll see people at the highest positions imaginable who drink alcohol. You won't see stoners (Marihuana smokers) at those same high career positions. This is fact, not fiction! Just don't get addicted and don't become a slave. Drink alcohol every once in a while or get stoned once in a while and enjoy it, just don't make it a daily thing!

What’s the point of this debate. They do different things and people get addicted for different reasons. The real question is are you willing to sacrifice your liver while you fry your brain or are you willing to sacrifice your lungs while you fry your brain… very simple stuff.

Alcohol by far is the worst drug you can consume if used in excess but a drink every now and then in moderation can be nice just like weed or any drug or anything you do too much of something is not good just do your research before deciding to consume anything!!!

I'm trying medical marijuana because I make dangerous and stupid decisions when I drink alcohol. Gotta be honest tho .... I'm not a big fan of marijuana at all.

I think marijuana is worse. I smoked from 13 to 20 and it was such a waste, made me lazy and content with mediocrity. I started to get anxiety from smoking and realized doing so was more of negative experience than a positive. I’m thankful my body started rejecting it because it was a trigger to get my act together, now I own a house at 24 ❤

Mental Aging for Marijuana verses Pancreatitis, Cirrhosis of the Liver, Lung Cancer, Scarring of the Lungs, Tracheotomy's the list goes on.

Worked as a nurse in a rehabilitation situation. Mostly alcohol related issues, not many Marijuana issues. Long term effects (chronic) use of alcohol consumption far surpassed MJ. Look up Karsikoff Syndrome.

I can’t even believe that not everyone knows the answer to this without a huge expensive lengthy study. Unreal, I do not stress out about being extremely healthy. Definitely wouldn’t worry about how much harm weed would cause me. Let’s take all the fun out of life in order to be as healthy as possible. Guess what, you’re still going to die.

Not saying either is good but weed is often illegal, and so incidence of alcohol mishaps is way higher, both would need to be legal and similar availablity to be a good comparison
