They literally cut the video right as she was about to place it on the eye. Then magically the contacts are in her eyes. This application video is worthless.

As an optician, NEVER PUT CONTACTS IN AFTER YOUVE PUT MAKEUP ON. PUT THEM ON BEFORE MAKEUP OR YOU MAY GET MAKEUP BETWEEN THE CONTACT AND YOUR EYEBALL. THAT MAY RESULT IN INFECTION.

tips:

ALWAYS wash your hands before putting them on ur eye

BE PATIENT. And expect to feel annoyed, and want to quit. You're putting something in your eye that ur not used to.

TAME BREAKS. If you get frustrated easily (like me), make sure to take like a five minute break if you get annoyed and regret life


make sure its on the eye long enough. A few times, when ive tried to put them in, they dont stick to my eye. Always make sure the contact is wet, and then make sure its on your eye for a few seconds. this also applies to the plunger. i remember that when i got my contacts, i was freaking out bc they werent coming out, and i just realized they werent on my eye long enough


Give it time. expect for it to feel uncomfortable the first few times you wear them. When i got mine, i felt them when i blinked, this may happen to u too. Your eye is just getting used to it. if it continues to hurt, tell ur eye doctor.


It also helps if i put saline directly on the lense and put it in my eye, as it makes them less dry. i also put drops before and after putting in contacts. good luck! tell me if u have questions
