I am in a Gulf Country, and had a hearty talk with an Arab..... he laughed on Indians..... we were sitting in a cosmopolitan Restaurant waiting for a European Client ..... we ha d an open heart talk while we were waiting..... there were Arabs there, there were Europeans and many many "high-heeled" Indians ..... The Arab host (he was a partner owner of my company) asked me to see how are the Arabs dressed ..... I said "like Arabs generally do.... in Kandoora and Abaya" ..... then he asked, how are the Europeans dressed .... I said like Europeans generally do ..... then he asked, how are Indians dressed..... i was silent ..... so he said .... like a European ...... then he continued politely ..... you guys are very intelligent but highly dosconfident lot .... we (Arab) were also once a British colony but we never blindly copied the Europeans .... but Indians want to become like Europeans ..... you are their CULTURAL SLAVES ..... you can Manage a Microsoft or a Google.... but you can NEVER make a Microsoft or a Google... because Slaves can run and manage a company, they don't and they can't start a company ........ I was dumbfounded.
