That's clearly the wrong reason to clone yourself. In reality, your clone should be treated kind of like having a twin. I mean, in a sense that's what they are. Of course, people also forget some of the important things about clones, like that they won't have your scars and will essentially be a separate sentient person with rights. And even if you could copy all of your knowledge into the clone perfectly, the clone will have entirely independent memories due to not having your experiences after they are completed.
So, yeah. Don't make them to be slaves. That's dumb.

Jack in panic attack/sad mode is too much like me. I feel like he cloned me just to make a comedy series that points out my flaws to myself.

I actually really like this depiction of clones. They are basically identical, but aren't made to belive they are the original. I would probably watch a movie about Jack and all his mundane clones rather than a movie about having an existential crisis about having clones clone.

I think it would've been bittersweet and adorable if it was a Tell Jack that Chris is dead clone and have Jack contemplate what it means that his real best friend is actually dead. Then have a Make Jake forget that Chris is dead clone show up because otherwise Jack goes insanely depressed from that fact.

So what I'm gathering is that you need only one or two clones so that you can still participate in every aspect of your life just less in some areas that would usually take up more so maybe instead of dry cleaning and trash every week once a month same with Cleaning ypur living space....wait a damn minute this just sounds like it could be solved by having roommates and being good friends with them
