Plz make a review of Marshall MG30 GFX
ОтветитьI like the 5 Watt tube amp from Marshall a the 1 Watt version. , but maybe it could be too loud for my neighbor. I have the positive grid software with an interface for bass. The sound in the app where not natural.
ОтветитьI noticed a lot of the Marshall little amps that come with the speaker sound horrific and tinny.
ОтветитьOther amps to avoid: BB Blaster, Gorila GG, Squier/Fender Frontman or any amp from a starter pack
ОтветитьGreat video. Love your playing. Thank you. All the best.
No Monoprice Stage Right guitar/bass tube/solid state amps? That is, outside of the Harley Benton, which is a rebranded Monoprice. Something to consider! A lot of bang for your buck.
As an aside, while I enjoy the look and fun sounds of the Fender RTs, you're paying a premium not only for the brand, but for features you can get for less money (e.g., pedals, boxes, DAW add-ons).
I would also suggest checking out the Blackstar ID Core V3 20W and 40W and the ID: Core 100. The latter even comes with a footswitch and a looper built in. I have the 20W and it is fantastic!
ОтветитьThe laney cub head or the 12r can easily compete with any of those.
ОтветитьMy setup:
Marshall JCM 800 2203
2×Marshall 412 1960 lead
Gibson sg ebony 2019
Little bit shame you didn't include the Fly 3 from Blackstar , i think it's quite good and VERY compact /light / portable
ОтветитьI never liked th code 50.
But, own the code 25 and play it all the time.
Secret, turn off the gate and dial in new presets.
Also, always use the same guitar once the presets are dialed in.
No Bugera? Cheap and the sound is very good. They have all the options that you need.
ОтветитьThe Peavey bandit is awesome if you love playing metal, just sayin.
Ответитьif anyone has a Marshall ORI5C , try putting a Celestion Eight 15 in it.
ОтветитьThe Harley Benton is the same as the Stage Right 15w (Monoprice). I have the Stage Right and it's stupid good. Wish it had 2 switchable channels and more watts, but I'll take what I can get for tone this godly. The price is too good
ОтветитьIf you got the marshall origin 20 combo put a 10" greenback in it. It'll sound MUCH better than that v type jr.
ОтветитьAfter seeing this video I was a bit confused. Fender or Marshall? seems they have good and bad things going on a plenty. So I went for the marshall MG30FX combo for 200 eur so at least I will make a lot of noise and being able to input some mp3 to play along with adds an extra sweet to the mix.
ОтветитьBandit best Amp to be reviewed..
ОтветитьElmo seems to be interested in your video too. He made sure to be in the camera range. 😅
Ответитьapart from the USB connection issues, i've absolutely been LOVING my code. (25) i use it everyday, like if i had any alternative apart from amplitube but still, i love this thing.
ОтветитьNice video. You seemed to like the later amps better, the Harley Benton and the Spark gave you more inspiration and more little moments than the others. And you're right about the Marshall Code, it sounded really bad, didn't even have any comedy value.
Ответить👍
Ответитьthe HB right at the end was sooo cronchy
ОтветитьGreat review.
Do you have a recommendation for a small practice amp like those 0,1-15 watts that could work when playing Lap Steel.
Must have a clear headroom and possibility to take pedals (HX Stomp).
Hey Elmo, Happy Tuesday, could you do a review on the gamma amp, I just bought one recently, just wanted your opinion
ОтветитьWhen I get another band together I will insist on calling ourselves "The Angry Bees". Anyone who doesn't agree will not be invited.
ОтветитьThank you Elmo for this excellent review Video I just stumbled onto here in December 2023, I enjoyed it immensely so Liked & subscribed as that was a no brainer, I really liked the Joyo & I'm going to have to go check that out further, and also boss katana mini, which I would like to have heard through a Cab like your top pick Harley Benton which would be great but out of my price range & not what I'm looking for, which is small micro sized very portable & compact & battery operated etc, , or at least something along those lines, assuming I can afford such like, as budget is very sad !, anyway I loved your amps too avoid & especially liked & laughed along with you when you demonstrated that Fender !! OMG !!! what an abomination, I mean the two Marshals were rather sad & especially the last one, but seriously Fender !!! what were you smoking when you signed off on that thing ??? LOL! , cheers n thx Paul from Australia.
ОтветитьThe best amp is the one the guitarist from the headliner Band forgot on Stage because of drinking too much 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI read halfway through the comments searching and found that the consensus of the Fender Champion 50XL owners is that yours WAS broken. Not one person with experience with that amp made a comment agreeing with you about it.
People with experience with other amps agreed with you for the most part, yet the Champ 50XL owners are calling you out.
It's time to get another Champion 50XL and confirm or retract your review/rating.
That Harley Benton was not the best sounding amp here. Maybe it sounded at lot better in person.
ОтветитьThe Marshall Code sounded pretty good when Ola demoed it.
ОтветитьHow are you supposed to demo an amp's distortion with a single coil pick up--especially for metal?
ОтветитьIMHO: THANKS FOR THESE DEMOS!!! I THINK THAT YOU OUGHT TO AVOID USING DISTORTION/FUZZ/O.D., AND FOCUS ON PLAYING CLEAN, CLEAR MUSIC, AND FOCUS ON GETTING GREAT TONE. HIGH SPEED PLAYING DOESN'T NECESSARILY DEMONSTRATE THE BEST TONES THAT ANY AMPLIFIER IS CAPABLE OF PUTTING OUT..PLEASE, SLOW DOWN, AND PLAY BETTER , MORE MUSICAL "TUNES". ["HEAVY METAL" IS NOT GOOD MUSIC!!!]
ОтветитьMustang lt25 is a fantastic amp and if you spend a good 30 minutes dialing in your tone and is dirt cheap
ОтветитьFor how hard you were rocking and stank facing and how amazing u played, that peavy sounded like shit lmao
ОтветитьBoss katana mk 2 artist 100 head
ОтветитьThe thing with the Marshall Code, was the cab SIM was garbage. I played the code 100 for a few years and once you get rid of the cab SIM and use it like a Marshall, it's actually ok for the money.
ОтветитьNot sure if you mentioned it but if the eq was generally set the same then I would agree that the Peavey Bandit was not very pleasant to listen to - very muddy.
ОтветитьAnyone that has an amp to avoid they dont want, feel free to send it to me.
ОтветитьBut FOR REAL look for a USA CRATE V30 ALL TUBE (Valve) amp…. Or the other USA Tube Crate Amps from St. Louis I believe
ОтветитьI've got the micro dark terror- holy moly is this thing loud even if it looks crazy small on my 412 marshall. My origin 20h is one of my favorites..my next move is gonna have to be the egnater tweaker 15 but also the harley benton 15w bundle looks sweet- looks like it has a 12inch speaker but for like $300, that's crazy.
ОтветитьGood Lord that Code amp is really bad like super digital sound thru a cereal box tone.
ОтветитьThis would have been way better if you had used a budget guitar instead of a mega dollar guitar which most people who would use these amps couldn't afford, just sayin.
Ответить90s peavey classic amps... Why did you pick a Bandit?
ОтветитьI run a bandit in my stereo rig. I run a leg off a stereo chorus that’s in my Marshall effects loop so I essentially use my Marshall a
Preamp to drive it.
Roland Cube amps are INCREDIBLE, I had such a good clean tone with it.
