It would have been funnier if Walter Brennan was holding a stuffed dog…
ОтветитьSong of redemption 😅😅❤
ОтветитьI visited the D.C. Mint in the ‘90’s. I saw a grand total of two employees on the production floor. The rest was entirely automated.
ОтветитьLove this movie
ОтветитьThat is a really good movie. Everybody should see it.
Ответить⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьI only just learned that Isaac Newton had been appointed master of the mint in London, England back in his day.. Apparently he loved the job. Did it very well and was in the position for quite a long time. I guess he made a lot of changes in how money was made.
ОтветитьThey used to have in circulation $1,000 bills. Now, in England the largest bill they have is a 50 pound note. Not even a 100 pound note? that's crazy.
ОтветитьI was thinking the blonde was going to be Stella Stevens, but I guess I was wrong..
ОтветитьI constantly keep track of every little thing. Every sheet of the special currency paper, every drop of ink. It's impossible for any employee to take any money out of there.
ОтветитьI really ❤ and enjoyed this movie...I watched initially cause of Jim Hutton. Really liked him alot when I saw him in a movie...I was then a student.
ОтветитьPrevod
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this delightully silly movie.
ОтветитьJust madness loved it
Ответитьa true comedic classic= just dont make em like this anymore.
ОтветитьAlways one of my favorite movies. Thanks for bringing it back
ОтветитьFirst movie i ever seen Soupy Sales in. Only seen him on game shows in the late 60's early 70's.
Ответить😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI never knew Milton Berle was so short.
ОтветитьWow, a lot of guys working at the mint make a $ billion a day.
ОтветитьSaw this new in 1967 At the Saturday kiddie matinee at 7 years old I thought it was cool!
ОтветитьYou are seeing inflation in its incipient form. 😢
ОтветитьGreat film. Thanks
ОтветитьWhen movies enterain you with no hidden agendas in them.
ОтветитьMilton berle is funny blending in with the statues. Pasty face.
ОтветитьLoved this movie. ❤
ОтветитьGreat movie, very similar to The Great Dinosaur Robbery !
Ответитьgreat flick
ОтветитьBeen waiting for this one ❤
ОтветитьAdorable😂😢😅😂
ОтветитьWow, I had seen this movie in decades, forgot just how good it is!
ОтветитьBob Gilligan’s and MASH AND BERLE
ОтветитьPeople are oohing & ahhing: the very first scene, Dorothy Provine is flinging herself at Jim Hutton and he is shrugging: offensively ridiculous.
This was an experiment to see if Hutton could carry comedies. He couldn't. He did absent-mindedness well. He had no other discernible skill, I guess he was pleasant-looking enough. Think: Dickj Van Dyke after a lobotomy. The very next year it was Green Berets for him.
The cast reads like the usual suspects. Gifford, Buono, added charm to comedies that needed it. By 1967 Berle should have been paid substantial money to stop working.
If you find yourself in 1967, go see Fitzwilly with Van Dyke and Barbara Feldon. Much better movie.
So fun!!!
ОтветитьThis is the worst case of commercials I’ve ever seen. Every 5 minutes. How in the world are you supposed to watch it? Good grief!,,,
ОтветитьWhat about Serial numbers? They won’t match.
ОтветитьI have not seen this movie for at least 45 50 years ago it's one of my greatest favorite movies thank you very much it certainly made my day😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!!!!!....
ОтветитьGood movie, I really liked it. Thx
ОтветитьMy girlfriend (at the time) had a problem with this movie...she had issues with movies where robbery is the major theme.
Even though "Who's Minding the Mint?" doesn't feature blatant robbery, this screwball gang was obtaining the money through dishonest means.
But even though my former girlfriend had issues with this movie, she had ZERO!! qualms about seeing Wesley Snipes' "Passenger 57," a movie whose theme is the hijacking of a passenger airliner; in fact she saw it twice!!
I wished I could've asked her, "How do you think the villains commandeered the airplane, through the Power of Positive Thinking?!!"
I guess Wesley Snipes was a lot hotter than Jim Hutton!!
what's the black car he gets into ? was it fancy?
Ответитьi wonder what happened to all that garbage in real life?
ОтветитьI haven't seen this film in 54 years since 1970. Great film, cast, and writing!
ОтветитьHmmmm.......The bill he pulls out of the sink shows $100. He had a bundle (100) of the $100's that he dumped into the bag → that is $10,000, not $50,000.
Somebody goofed there.
Never heard of this. Crazy!!!
ОтветитьDon'r you like how old time movies always have a happy ending!
ОтветитьI have seen two One Thousand dollar bills in my hands back in the late 60s.
ОтветитьThey don't really throw garbage in the sea, do they?,,😳
