For those wondering how amazing it smells to work with flowers, I worked in a flower shop for several months, and I could only smell the flowers when I first got into work, but after a couple minutes I got used to the smell and couldn't really smell it anymore unless I got super up close to the flower. You also have to remember that working with flowers means that you are working with a lot of green waste, such as stems that are being cut off of flowers or extra leaves that are being stripped, and that stuff STINKS. It decomposes really fast, and dealing with those trash cans at work are a nightmare.

That's why the natural scent of the flowers are lost

Flowers done this way are so incredibly unsustainable, from the coolant needed in the fridges, to the fuel for the planes, to the enormous amounts of pesticides put on all of them and the land. I would suggest if people want to give flowers try to find a local organic grower and choose more native flowers.
