Taiwan isn´t part of China. Just leave them alone. It was first colonised by the Dutch. So if you say it should belong to China because it was once part of China (which it never was except of Qing Dynasty) then it should first belong to Netherlands. If you say it should belong to China because a lot people there belong to Han ethnicity than Tibet and East Turkistan should not be part of China in reverse. So what ever argumen a Chinese makes it is not conclusive. Btw, Hong Kong should actually also not be part of China simply because most people there don´t want to.

Interesting to watch. The map is quite humorous and obviously meant to be funny. Although not sure why Taiwan is labeled as ‘unwilling to return’ as its the only province that ‘never left’ the Republic of China so it has nothing to return to. It’s the one and only surviving province in the Republic of China and it’s never been part of the People’s Republic of China. That being said I can see the map is supposed to be funny not diplomatic.

Watching this in 2021, I find this video kinda offensive. For example, we all know that Tibet and Qinghai was “no results” because they are just easily ignored like how muricans forget about Missouri. Can't believe they blamed it on some vague censorship. Jiangsu numba one province? Controversial in 2020. Taiwan was just ”unwilling to return“ five years ago, but now if you ask someone on the streets they would say they want a war to get it back.

Alot of tall people in these northern provinces of China, especially in Shandong. These Chinese probably stereotype us white or European Americans as short and fat when compared to themselves on average.

I lived in Shenyang for many years, but I spent two years in Guangzhou, and the joke among transplants there from other parts of China is: 广州人什么都吃……除了食物。The Guangzhou people eat anything...except food.
