The issue is literally that too many people are developing adhd minds even when they dont have adhd. Why are people needing immediate rewards for hard work? Social media and video games are actually the problem. Cut those things down as much as possible so that your mindset doesnt develop bad habits. Dopamine is a drug.
ОтветитьThe girl I like introduced me to your videos, and this one came up because I’ve returned to school and I’m a big nerd. Love this way of breaking it down because I’ve been saying this in other ways and it doesn’t seem to click with my friends. So hopefully this makes sense to them. Also I have a Mike who is also awful at mid, so I understand not letting him have that sweet mid position.
ОтветитьWhat I'm wondering, though, can these 'small rewards' ever compete with the rush that video games provide? I quit gaming 1.5 years ago to pursue 'real life'. In this relatively short time, I have achieved many things I never thought I could. And yet, I haven't ever felt the same rush that video games provide me and I'm wondering if I should implement video games again as a type of reward system to make life fun again?
ОтветитьThis video has been very informative. I'm dealing with low attention span making it difficult for me to stay focused on studying. Sometimes, I get really overwhelmed with the amount of material I need to study given the limited time to prep for a test. I hope these learning strategies with enable me to become an effective learner.
ОтветитьIf You are getting Exam You can turn it into game
As
Put Questions on paper and Write it as "Try #1" see how many Rughts You do and With Red you put Mark on wrong ones as You study again it and Try it again Oh yea Btw, you put Under Your first try how much you succesded First mission like "30% Completed" and In" Try 2" you look how much NOW You succesded as You see that You are slowly becoming more Succesful and it becomes fun as it looks like You are clearing a dungeon
Can’t even consistently play a game, because of my laziness… how am I supposed to be motivated for studying?? Dx
Ответитьthis is an amazing video! it helped me a lot❤
Ответитьfrom human to animated guy, so u dont exist anymore?
Ответитьths help fr bro im now knowing how to lern better and faster
ОтветитьI need to go to de wc
ОтветитьQue vídeo incrível!
ОтветитьMy biggest challenge for studying is while I'm enjoying achieving my first goal, everyone's going through third or fourth goal already. I have this fixation on getting 100% in every goal whereas everyone's okay with getting 50-70% in each goal. So I'm always getting behind.
ОтветитьThats how i was so motivated last year. I gave myself those A B options like they do in video games.
Ответитьokay but what if I also just make my own studying game ayyyy? "To use this magic skill you need to find the derivative of sin^4(2x) Go!" wouldnt that be sick too bad my coding skills arent that developed yet
ОтветитьI will forever clap for others until it's my turn 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ответитьi'm watching this because of my adhd but 2 min in and i'm already zoned out of the video hehehe
Ответитьinteresting
ОтветитьWhen I was in college, everyone was talking Adderall.
Ответить"Have I ever pushed myself to play videogames? No."
Me: 😐Actually, I have..
this needs more likes bro lets get this to 200k likes!
Ответитьhehe i like how you included the actual video games so we can relate
Ответитьsorry my comment is off the topic but I have a question, what is that Mario game at the beginning of the video?
Ответить1. Track Progress
2. Break down big goals ino small goals
3. Study Groups
4. Reward Accivemiets
Genshin impact is very addicted😢 even after getting bad grades the old me was not coming back
ОтветитьFrom now on I’ll treat going to class as doing genshin dailies so I don’t skip so often
ОтветитьWhat if you don’t play video games and can’t relate ?
ОтветитьI'm 50 and just and I feel like level one, trying to get my high school diploma.😔
Ответитьi've watched this video 3 times...
ОтветитьHere's another one: Do things you enjoy while studying, like listening to music, having snacks, or putting something on in the background, and do this consistently. It should be something that doesn't distract you from the work but is enjoyable.
This strategy builds a positive association with work and makes you more willing to do the work because you know (whether consciously or subconsciously,) that you always have a good time when studying.
I love your channel! You're helping me in my study journey soooo much. Keep up the amazing work!
ОтветитьLe me watching this vedio 1 day before exam......
Ответитьi got 2 days, what do i do?
ОтветитьSummery:
change how you think about it in a way that lowers the risk and increases reward.
(action- by deconstructing the task into small parts)
gather support- teaming up with shared goal people.
find a perspective that provide mental clarity and purpose(action-knowledge assessment , progress tracking)
you didnt trick your brain into liking studying, you were just born asian
Ответитьlol your video motivated me to not study and play games :<
Ответитьretarded learning system. u get only one shot to do your best, otherwise ur screwed.
ОтветитьLeveling up
Make your own storyline
As u are the main character of your life
Add task, hurdles, and rewards in storyline
To remove uncertanity= ask feedbacks more often
Higher risk, less attemps= break high risk into small goals with higher rewards
One at a Time as we inhale one breath at a time
Must have social accountability to keep you going(when u tell what u did gives u motivation and a sens of accomplishment)
You can do it
Bonous - u can reward yourself by watching 1 episode of anime once a week after completing your weekly schedule
Not my problem reading is to easy cuz i read them way to damn fast now
Ответитьyou're the only video about studying that I didn't add to my watch later list HAHAHAH thank you for your tips!!
ОтветитьI need help. I don't like video games and none of these work for me
ОтветитьIs this for children
ОтветитьSkyrim
Ответить#1 Doesnt apply to a great deal of video games. Minecraft, Stellaris, EU4, Cities Slylines, Sims4, Stardew valley... None of these have a definitive storyline
ОтветитьMan really likes pokemon
