Top 5 Modern Decks January 2024

you stared doing timestamps, but only made one. why?

Do you consider other sites when considering the best deck in modern or just mtgGoldfish? I've looked around and different places have different #1 decks. Though, the top 5 are usually the same.

I'm new to modern, I've been rolling with a simple mono red burn deck, and once you can identify the deck you're up against burn is very good at winning T3 - 4 with proper sideboarding options against amulet and yagmoth.

Spelunking in amulet titan lets you choose if you want the lands to enter tapped or untapped even though it's not a may effect. I also didn't understand why some people where running it if it made the amulet not work until i saw gameplay on mtg online and saw that mtgo lets you choose if you want it to enter tapped with spelunking in play. And apparently it only works like with lands that have the ability themselves to enter tapped, so for exemple if you primeval titan and search slayer's stronghold it will enter the battlefield untapped, so its the only line of play that spelunking kinda nullifies, other than that you can always choose if it enters the battlefield tapped

Someone needs to put modern out of it's fucking misery

Feel like scams just gonna get hit again.

I'm trying a Scam variant with Fulminator Mage and Liliana the Last Hope. Liliana can pick off small creatures and recur key creatures (and her ultimate is doable if the opponent is out of threats for a few turns). I can throw in Avalanche Riders and Boom/Bust and have a decent recurring land destruction theme. A bit slow, but fun project to work on.

Can you talk about the mono black midrange

I have a golgari aggro/ midrange deck with a 60% win rate roughly that really does well against most of the meta decks (unless i screw up💩)
