I waited a week before they dispatched my order then a further two weeks before it actually arrived. 😑

I don't remember whether or not I mentioned this before, but what is Zavvi doing charging sales tax on international orders? How, exactly, do they account for that? That is taxation without representation and it was, officially, one of the reasons the colonists went to war with England and formed the United States.
Also, I guess this is as good a time and place as any to mention that I was mistaken about the amount I am charged when I order something from a foreign Amazon site as a "cross border fee" or something to that effect. I think it's actually like 1%, not 10.

I think you're right about not having to be aware of every single company's shipping, etc. to declare one the worst, as I am fully aware that nothing could POSSIBLY be more severe than the hell to which I have been subject for well over a decade now, because of what it is and the depths of it which are the deepest anything could possibly go, showing that nothing could possibly be worse. You don't need to try out everyone's brand of firecrackers to know that a hydrogen bomb is more destructive than all of them combined.

Wait wait wait I've made 3 orders from them like 2 weeks ago I'm alright with a late ish delivery and dispatch but as a first time on zavvi the packages do arrive though right 😰😳

Three and a half years on and they're still the same. I blame myself really, I said I'd never buy from them again when they bait-and-switched a GoT offer. I went back because they had an offer on a mystery box I wanted (can't even remember what it was, BTTF I think) and then they sent me something completely different and refused to foot the return postage cost so I was stuck with crap I never wanted. That was the last time I said I'd not go back...

Then they started to sell some Jurassic Park/World exclusive clothing. What. Is. Wrong. With. Me?! It's not like I didn't know they were going to screw it up, but I bloody bought from them anyway! Three weeks, umpteen emails, one cancellation request was all it took to get my stuff. And they sent a jacket that was way bigger than advertised. And I didn't get the "free" gift I was supposed to get. So here am I trying to return a massive jacket and get my gift.

So I ask again: What. Is. Wrong. With. Me?!

This is absolutely the last time.

They had a promotion on a product that has about 20 dollars difference than the one I just placed the day prior. Asking them to apply the difference they can't. So when I asked them to cancel my order and they can't. basically, once you place your order, you can't do anything.

Be glad you even got your delivery cuz mine was lost by DHL and have been literally trying to get a replacement from Zavvi for over a month well 6 weeks to be exact and they keep making me jump thru hoops

I hadn't heard of the site before and I ordered a dragonball movie box set and a my hero academia steel book, they haven't arrived yet but seeing a video like this does have me worried for the condition they'll arrive in

Now I'm super worried about my One Tree Hill complete boxset :( its been ocer 2 weeks and its still did not arrive, and now I see why shipping is so low... :((

I have been looking at steelbooks on their site - are they legitimate? Are they the best website to shop steelbooks? And if so have they improved their services?

habe Zavvi gestern entdeckt und würde mir gerne ein paar Filme bestellen, da dort auch viele schwer zu beschaffende Filme im Sortiment sind, wie sind deine aktuellen Erfahrungen mit dem Shop. Ich wohne in Deutschland, also sollte es Distanztechnisch nicht das Problem sein, nur eventuelle Zollgebühren könnten draufgeschlagen werden. Würde mich sehr über eine Antwort freuen.

Hard to say, I liked zavvi for some of their unique products and when they had free shipping. The main draw was that they usually delivered a product in 2 weeks (for amazon I have to wait up to a month or more), 30% of the orders got lost, but I've got a replacement every time. When they added price for shipping, somehow their shipping time got longer and longer, so I started buying less, and now with Brexit, it's time to stop in general.

Just baught an Kit Fisto lightsaber from them for like 200 dollars, and now I am really worried. Do someone think it will work alright, and be the real ones from Hasbro??? :(

Does anyone know why they won't combine your items for shipment rather than sending each one individually out? First time I've dealt with a company like this. Also, wondering why I can't change shipping options despite on their website stating we can and even having a representative confirm what I've read. Their customer service for first impression is mediocre. Also, unless I misread this, they are giving orders an additional 30 days on top of the estimated delivery date! WHAT!?

I had 3 orders with about 20 items. And i had 15 complains on non delivery, broken item, bad packing, unsent items for a month and more, no answers from their "customer service" etc.etc.etc ....... The worst store ever. The most horrible, awful, terrible, disgusting and unpleasantly buying experience I ever had.
Update: They smoothed out most of the problems so I still have to be honest and write it down. Now though the experience is a little better 3.5/5.

Thanks for steering me away from this ship of fools, but with the huge increase in online sales and presumably a huge increase in damaged returns, companies are not just going to throw slightly damaged goods away or bother to make thousands of claims against carriers. This leaves us with the scenario of previously returned damaged goods, being re-sent to new customers. I've had it happen many times and I'm sure this practice will continue on an ever greater scale. This is the great bane of buying through the post, it's a game of pot luck with a lot of frustration.

Has anybody had experience getting 1/6 scale figures sent to them by Zavvi?

I used not to have any problem with Zavvi really. Now it's another story since 2 years ago I constantly get refunds since 1 item is always missing from my order others arrive within the dates suggested but , always one is lost I don't know how they do it and always one is missing.

If it's so terrible why do you order from them repeatedly over the course of months? Sounds like zavvi isn't the only one with problems 🤡

I ordered a single funko pop because of its cheap price but seriously it’s been 4 month nearly half a year 4 months FOR A DAMN FUMKO POP I ordered it 1 of April I DM them on Instagram 2 times a month at the start and end and it’s the same crap they say everytime

They are shipping damaged goods before they even go into the package

zavvi was the worst shopping experience of my life. Useless customer service, 4x longer delivery then advertised, and laced with hidden fees and duties (only time duties came as a surprise instead of stated on the site and where the item was from)

Their customer service agents suck. Their return process sucks. Their policies suck.

I purchased nearly $300 in products and they were lazily thrown in a box without padding. Returning is like pulling teeth, they want YOU to pay for return shipping and then when you submit the receipt for reimbursement they don't do anything with it. I had to contact my credit card company.

I'll never shop there again.

Got a shirt and when I washed it all the print was destroyed. I followed the right steps like low to no spin ,cold water, air dry everything
