Impairment in life functioning is really important criteria for any mental health disorder diagnosis.

I really appreciate psychology and I enjoy researching mental illness using the DSM-V. I try very hard not to allow myself to self-diagnose as well. Psychology is very important to me and I have a lot of respect for professionals, but I only really look at fictional characters and how accurate/ inaccurate a mental illness is portrayed (especially DID) rather than actual people I know. I’m glad that you posted this video because I have friends who have self-diagnosed and caused a lot of problems for themselves because of it.

you keep denying the spiritual theology - about demonology . it explains tactile , audio ,visual hallucinations and fallacious delusional thinking . it's reality for so many. millions of born again Christians understand it. Also .. Saint Paul's description of the new man,and old man nature. the sinful nature explains much of the pathological. so whats the solution. ✝ i argue a high focus on giving knowledge and nurturing human development is best object to focus on in MH treatment,, more love and teaching from nurses and doctors and therapists. the truth here makes many reasons for changes ,and ways of the past 100 years obsolete. 👨‍🏫 special attention to what the internet has value for as a tool . the existing dsm..history is obsolete ,new objects for treatment ..have practical utility and interest for any one who has friends or works in mh .. things have changed. i repeat. " i argue a high focus on giving knowledge 💖 , and nurturing human development 💖best object to focus on in MH treatment," the problem now is how to achieve this ,i hope i have induced a favorable opinion with these reasons. Understand the value for all interested,

Thank you for the clear explaination. I live in a community that often comments that someone is on the 'spectrum' just because of a quirk in their personality. Mentioning the need of 7 symptoms or the significant distress or impairment in areas of life, help clarify the issue.

Success is the only thing they care about in US! If you are psychotic as a personality but succcessful in your job you are not considered mentally disturbed. In US they don't care about man's psyche, the only thing they care about is how you will be effective, productive and successful. Their civilisation is the one that causes disorders.

I must admit I'm guilty of diagnosing myself and others. If I read or hear something about a mental or physical disease or illness, my mind starts racing and I think that I or someone close to me has it! Thank you for this helpful video - It showed me that I really need to work on this and realize that not everyone suffers from every kind of illness!

DSM by name is a documentation of mental health, now defining multiple normal human tendencies as disorder looks like an organized plot to just inject people will drug and probably studying effects.
