ОтветитьI don't believe a word of it. Think she had Liposuction and also used Wegovy !
ОтветитьOh come on there’s nothing better than after all the pain endured you get what you’ve worked for your healthy and sustainable idea is not for everyone and that’s ok
ОтветитьAnother Kardashian Scam if you asked me,Abbey! Now they are abusing diabetic drugs to get skinny ! Sure you know that,Ozempic I think,
Sorry if I missed the drug name properly)
the idea to do anything with the sole purpose of getting revenge against someone (a man) who doesn’t give a shit about you is just sad and lacks empowerment. the opposite of feminism
ОтветитьDrop you and find somebody new 😵😵😵
ОтветитьThat is such a short time to expect your body to bounce back in peak shape! I don;t understand how any "professionals" back her up with this. I workout too but not for 2 freggin hours! You don't have to forgive your rapist! You forgive yourself! There is so much love and compassion just in that alone that can help you heal. It breaks my heart to hear that..and that too from a "professional"...did they force her to share her trauma on tv for the views too? Can we just see healthy on tv more? Like healthy role models? Healthy diet (or close enough to it, or even balanced because we're not perfect), healthy relationships, etc? I could use it.
ОтветитьSorry last comment I promise haha. They’re being spoken to in a way that’s seemingly worse than the people who made them feel bad in the first place. Oh you feel like sh.. let me help you feel even worse. That’ll help for sure!!! It’s like a horror film!
ОтветитьHow are you speaking about this so calmly? Your head must be exploding inside. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьOmg can’t watch any more. It’s basically abuse for money.
ОтветитьOmg that’s shocking. A really hard watch. Unbelievably upsetting.
ОтветитьI don’t like the guild-based motivation
ОтветитьI think these shows would be better. Maybe less entertaining, but I think they would be better if they showed them how to incorporate these things in their actual day-to-day life. Because not everybody can afford to work out three times a day to stay fit.
ОтветитьDude wtf this is so messed up.
ОтветитьAbbey, as someone who is in ED recovery, I have a very disjointed view on weight loss. I wanted to ask: what do you mean when you say that weight loss for aesthetic reasons can be healthy/productive (if i'm understanding that)? weight loss for health aside (many doctors won't even help fat people until they lose weight, which makes losing weight more of a difficult challenge to achieve care that they should have in the first place), I do know some people who are trying to lose weight even if they don't hate their bodies. But doesn't this mean restriction? Isn't restriction what brings us to this place in the first place? I have a dietitian myself and I will ask her this same question, but I found this point a little disquieting and wanted to ask for clarification. Intuitive eating can't coexist with wanting to lose weight from my education on the topic. Thanks for calling this show out on the absolute BS it is. It's truly awful. xx
ОтветитьI know that the goal of intuitive eating is to really help the mental health journey in concert with one’s relationship with food. I do get frustrated when there is so much talk around the idea of “healthy at any size” purely from a metabolic perspective. Or even purely from a mental health perspective. I have been very overweight at one point in my life, and my dear sister is very overweight and I know from experience and from her experience and from the experience of others that beyond metabolic well-being there is the strain on one’s body caring excessive amounts of weight. It is so hard on your back and your joints to carry so much weight. We need to conclude this every time we talk about well-being for “overweight people “. It is not just about mental well-being and whether or not you have diabetes. Can you get up a freaking flight of stairs without running breathless? Do your joints hurt? Does your back hurt? What is your range of motion? Can you pick something up off the floor without difficulty? There is more to the concept of healthy at every size then just simply your blood work. And we need to include this in the conversation so that people who try to intuitively eat also understand that it is OK for you to pursue weight loss in a healthy mental state for the benefit
Of improving general quality of life.
I know all this is problematic and promoting diet culture harms; that being said, participants knew what they signed up for. We can’t pity them as victims of bullying because they agreed to be spoiled will celebrity coaches and treatments at not cost to themselves for the purpose of having their weight loss televised. I think in this case we also need to address the need for attention seeking behaviors as validation in celebrity, social media obsessed culture not just the diet culture behaviors. We need to ask ourselves why we voluntarily throw ourselves into something like this, and why we sit at home and watch this, just like the biggest loser, for entertainment.
ОтветитьHow do I get this “saucy” crew sweatshirt?!!
ОтветитьJust imagine saying a victim to forgive her/his rapist !!! That's insane
