Allen super love it
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьNUKEN FUTS !
ОтветитьWhat a GENIUS. God Bless Him!!!!!
ОтветитьHe must be really good friends with his neighbours
ОтветитьA modern engineering Tesla.....😍
ОтветитьVerdadeira obra prima.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
ОтветитьSome of the particulars,
Flying Millyard ; Engine type, Aircooled pushrod, 2-valve 70-degree V-twin ; Displacement, 4888cc ; Bore x stroke, 146 x 146mm ; Compression ratio, 6:1.
note: the low compression ratio
Modern street motorcycles usually ring in somewhere between 9.5:1 to 13.5:1
That's still amazing good for 4888cc
seriously impressive!!!
ОтветитьWhat a guy, wish I had his knowledge
ОтветитьGreat video of a truly awesome feat of engineering, (and I don't used the term 'awesome' lightly or in the modern context where almost everything is labelled as being 'O-some' and/or 'Legen-derry'..) That engine is just a fantastic thing to behold.. However, with my retired Firefighter's head on, I would have to point out that having that flame-belching exhaust pointing directly at that plastic petrol can was not Allen's finest hour when it comes to personal Health & Safety.. I'm really hoping it was being used as a catch tank for a crankcase breather ?..
ОтветитьHoly crap, thats is so cool, look at the heads, the cooling fins are so sexy.
ОтветитьI was in a local bar lately and one of the ornaments was a full Pratt & Witney aero engine! Hard to imagine two of those monster cylinders in a Motorcycle!!! Also heard of a chap in New Zealand I think it was using two cylinders from a MERLIN engine in a bike????
Ответить🤩🇺🇸👍
Ответить10 litre v4 next please😅
ОтветитьMakes a Harley engine look unbalanced.
ОтветитьWas there anybody in this World who thought that Allen’s Engines wouldn’t start/run?
Ответить5 liters? No way.
ОтветитьThe mad scientist!!!
ОтветитьMad as a fish ! 👍👍
ОтветитьCan we have a 10 hour ASMR video loop of this ticking over please?
ОтветитьHe is brilliant engineer see his mountain bikes he made for his son amazing person ,and see his workshop where build everything will surprise 😀 you all
Ответить🎶 "Good morning, neighbours..."🎵
ОтветитьOne cylinder is bigger than my car, by 100cc.
ОтветитьMight help to wear a rubber mouth-piece, like boxers use, once you get that engine in a bike frame, uh?
ОтветитьThat thing is a monster ready to eat everyone around it - including it’s creator. You could tell he delicately revved it at his own peril - just a bit - then backing away quickly before it became hungry…
ОтветитьFor some reason, old truck engines were usually 71 cubic inches per cylinder, so I assume that old aircraft engines are twice that, or 142ci per cylinder. The math usually adds up pretty close, and here we see it again, 2 cylinders off a radial aircraft engine works out to about 5 liters, close to 300ci. What a beast!
ОтветитьHow the heck do you make one of these ❤️
ОтветитьBadass
ОтветитьVery cool motor i want this in my garage😎😎
ОтветитьLooks like old Jaguar SU Carbies,Nostalgic 👍
ОтветитьDang show off! If I only had the talent!!! What is that equal to? 70 deg v twin?
ОтветитьI often wonder about your neighbours 😂
ОтветитьMakes a harley look very meek
ОтветитьThe five litre Vee twin is gorgeous, but it could be improved aesthetically if the side covers and ancillary items weren’t so ‘simple geometric shapes.’ A little creative CNC machining would improve the look of it no end. Alan, you are obviously a genius engineer to do what you do, but a little mechanic Le design would improve it immensely. Love your work Allen. You are an amazing man.
ОтветитьHow long can you idle an air cooled 5liter without a fan?
ОтветитьA good sound, when cell phone is ringing!
ОтветитьI wanted something lighter for tossing into corners, so i went with this small twin.
ОтветитьThat thing would be a torque monster!
ОтветитьI keep watching this one. My idea of a Vee twin! 🤣👏👏
ОтветитьIve noticed ......
All your engines always idle perfectly and don't stall after revving.
"Just perfect " !!!!
👍💪♥️
ОтветитьNow put it in a cruiser.
ОтветитьImagine Allen and Guy Martin together in a shed on a project...!!
ОтветитьSaw you on here Simon !
ОтветитьI wonder how economical it is
ОтветитьThat is just sooo British. Someone working alone, builds a one-off 5l V twin motor in a shed, and when it fires up, there is no hootin' n' hollerin' like children, no high 5s. In fact, barely a facial expression to be seen!
Ответитьmy first thought was to see this on the front of a scaled up morgan 3 wheeler.
ОтветитьHarley Davidson makes the biggest Vee Twins…. Allen Millyard… hold my petrol can.
