Thanks for the sanding suggestion. First time I have adjusted a new ball and the wet sanding at 2000 worked out great.

can you suggest me the measurement for the left handed?

Would be nice to see players stay that far left but throw out to the 2nd or 3rd arrow from the right. That would be a massive hook. Don't know why modern players shoot from left side of lane.

What surface would you recommend for house shot like you were talking about?

So for low rev slow speed what surface I heard if your polish it that it would help?

When you said you were gonna bring up the surface, I assume this is hitting it with a higher grit, like 3000. The ball comes out of the box at 2000. I was gonna get one of these but I'm deciding against it. I worry the ball might be too strong for me. Interested to know if you ever followed through with that ball by upping the surface and if there's any conclusion. I'm starting to see this show up at the house but mostly the ladies are throwing it.
I can barely keep my Phaze 2 tame enough on the house pattern, so maybe its a bit too strong for my game. I'm a lefty and usually play an outside line, I just worry the Gem will read too early. I'm trying to develop a better inside game, that's what made me think about this ball.
Anyway, I'd be interested in a follow up on this ball. Perhaps the upcoming hybrid version of this ball may be a better fit. Supposed to come out of the box at 4000.

He said he could see himself using this on shorter oil patterns? How does that work? With his high rev rate there’s no way this thing wouldn’t over hook right?

Im so jealous of the shammy you have! I used to have the breast cancer awareness one before as well and early this year I had my storage unit broken into and lost all my bowling equipment. As well as the unit unfortunately.

I could not handle the background them bright lights and the glare on lane would mess with my vertigo

After having the gem for a few weeks and 30 plus games, im very disappointed with it. It is not the big hook monster they advertise. I have several balls that hook way more
