Had a early 90s giant rincon when I was a kid that was a solid bike. No I have a 2019 giant escape 3 and it too seems well made and solid.

My former boss laughed when he found out my bike was made in Taiwan then he saw it and loved he said it was more beautiful than his $5000 dollars specialized. Then later he learned his was manufacture in China.
So never judge a book by its cover.

I just started working for them and never realized how big they really are! I always thought they were a budget bike but actually, they are just a good bang for the buck! They r so cheap because they manufacture their own frames and wheels!! Unlike trek, Scott, and schwin(all bikes that giant manufactures) they don’t have to up charge because they actually make their own stuff! Great company!!

My 25 years new Giant mountain bike still running very well like the day I just bought it. Can’t find the excuse to buy another new one. This is the downside to buy a Giant bike. It will stay with you forever.

Step one: open shop in China and Manufacture in Taiwan. Chinese people will love to purchase those non made in China bikes. Step Two: Sponsor some pro bike team use those money earned from China. Step three: sell to US and rest of the world for much lower average price.

I have the top of the line 2019 tarmac and the top tcr 2013. Tcr is on top! But it's almost equal. Tcr more comfort. Tarmac more aggressive. So both are very similar. I thought when I first rode my tarmac that Giant made the frame. It felt like tcr quality. I heard rumors Giant did. My 2 cents.

By making quality products (bicycles in this case) and supplying them at affordable and value for money prices without ripping off buyers
