first time seeing the channel, "you can't see out of it, it's dangerous and poorly made. But isn't it great?!" Glad I don't have to watch again!
ОтветитьThe safety net of Fresno said no one ever.
ОтветитьI just saw this thing on the road in TX. Y'all can't be serious, it's pretty terrible looking. Looks like "an incomplete, bare-bones concept of a 2012 Honda Ridgeline concept" that was scrapped. Are they going to leave like that?
ОтветитьF150 has a range of 750 miles on highway cruising. Cyber truck or any other truck for that matter needs to match that or close to range that to be remotely competing with Gas trucks.I get that you need 300 trees to offset one truck but utility trumps eco mentalism. Trucks are work trucks built to ensure that rural households don’t need to rely on delivery service for small works or hauls from local Walmart. Some use it for bragging rights but mostly trucks do serve an important purpose in America compared to Europe which is mostly urban population. Cyber truck do look cool to me because of the tech but still the range and the utility is lacking in CT
ОтветитьRidiculousness on wheels.
ОтветитьI see build quality is still an issue. It's just a deeply unserious vehicle.
ОтветитьA combination can opener and vegetable peeler but for an extra 80k you can drag race Lambos in it. It's a niche market.
ОтветитьNA*I SUPPORTER!
Is all I'm thinking if I see any Tesla vehicle on the roads...
Ah we can use Elon’s own Cybertruck to take care of his head when we have enough of him and his ilk.
ОтветитьAgain, TH delivers. The Cybertruck; not so much.
ОтветитьWhining sound is those 35's beyond 100mph debating exploding. . .
ОтветитьMan that 40 minutes went like a...Cybertruck...Hands down the best car review content I've seen in ages, 10/10 for humor and engagement too. Love ya work gents!
ОтветитьWhat an absolute heap of shit. Sorry you guys were duped into driving this, hopefully something more interesting is in your future
ОтветитьThe best and worst thing about this truck is that it makes absolutely no sense at all... To my eyes it is absolutely ugly, yet very interesting. The interior is straight up boring, without being classy. But the straight steel body is just straight dumb... Will probably mean you kill every pedestrian you touch, it's extremely hard to manufacture, and the tolerances and panel gaps are comically bad. Makes it look like hand built by an intern, which I guess matches the exterior shape being drawn by a toddler. But it's needlessly heavy, which is exactly what you do not want in EV. I can't understand the point, other than a not exactly sane billionare wanting it this way...
It's so dumb and so ugly, that it's actually the only Tesla I would like to have 😀
been waiting for this from TH and it exceeded expectations. please never sell out. your video production, analysis, and personal touch are everything that makes me a subscriber.
ОтветитьIf the front bumper came out to a sharp point it's arodynamic numbers would double. Same with the rear trunk. Double. Even with Lamborghini new batteries would turn 800 miles per charge. Just stick sharp on front and rear with styrofoam and it will prove it.
ОтветитьFugly as hell . . still want one tho. Everyone needs a alien2 truck
ОтветитьYosemite Sam National Park
Ответитьso, I suppose that all other cars have safety features that mske it impossible to cut carrots in doors, fronks and trunks????
Ответитьdont have to worry about dents because it comes pre-dented...
ОтветитьAll hail the new automotive equivalent of the PT Cruiser! Enjoy the cool design until for the short time until it becomes the butt of jokes! 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe front impact safety for pedestrians is... they simply would have to re-design the entire thing to be able to sell it in Europe. Way too stiff, way to high, and basically no crumple zone at all. But, yes, the build quality is laughably poor. 1990s Kia poor. 1970s VW bus bad. Creaks, gaps, wobbly edges, nothing polished, attracts fingerprints like your fridge... And the lack of a rear window... It's simply not ready for market despite the hype. It honestly reminds me of the Hummer H1 - at the time it was the biggest hype ever, was outrageously large and pointless, and yes, built with the reliability and quality control of a military truck.
Ответитьthat ringing sound is the wind on the sharp edges
ОтветитьI keep telling people Tesla’s are trash. They have always made hype vehicles.
ОтветитьI just watched a 40 min video?!?!? ….mindblown
ОтветитьEXCELLENT work. Really thorough, balanced review
ОтветитьOther reviews said headlights are garbage
ОтветитьCool looking truck.
ОтветитьI'm excited for some off-roading reviews :)
ОтветитьA remarkable piece of engineering from a rich child's whim
ОтветитьDid they put magnets on stainless steel? I thought it is not or just mildly magnetic?
ОтветитьI think we’ve all become jaded. The straight line performance of this giant door stopper is bananas.
ОтветитьThe two of you just get better with time
ОтветитьI love your videos
ОтветитьShoutout to a stellar podcast by @thesmokingtire
ОтветитьWhere do you buy those tires that fit those hub caps?
ОтветитьIncredible review, guys! The production quality, humor, and genuine camaraderie make this channel the best in the game. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьA failure of a review. You took a truck and teated it like a car. The useless drag strip test, the driving it like it was designed for trips to the daycare or grocery shopping, a highway drive to Yosemite but did you throw a load of lumber in it and use it like... a truck? How can you rate it as a work truck when you didn't actually test it as a work truck?
ОтветитьStill unbelievable how this car looks in real life
All in all a useless car, but still one that wows you
I find today's Brits unfunny. John Cleese they're not. Only thing good here is the Cybertruck.
ОтветитьThese guys are freakin’ brilliant!
ОтветитьGreat review. Canadians are always truthful and polite. Gotta love 🇨🇦
ОтветитьThe Pontiac Aztec was “interesting”, I’ll just leave it at that.
ОтветитьThe reason for the Cybertruck shape is that initially it was supposed to be 3mm thick stainless steel across the board and you can't really bend that too much. It's a very tough material to use, so they designed it around using flat surfaces and simply cutting the steel. It's not some visionary design, it's Elon asking for a truck made of stainless steel, something where he can use bullets and explosions in the marketing, and the engineers had to work from there.
ОтветитьNot an engineer, but could some kind of transmission-like gearing possibly help the towing range of EV's..? Less torque demand and higher RPM's? Maybe slower top speeds towing than ICE's, but better range than at the moment? I know nothing of such things, I'm a musician and cabinet maker, just curious; if anyone has any solid data, I'd love to hear it... For that matter, every review of EV sports cars has lots of bitching about the loss of the 3-pedal manual gearbox aspect; couldn't they mate a manual or maybe DCT to an EV's motor, and use software to emulate the torque and G-forces of shifting gears in an ICE sports car? Maybe even some sound effects, not actually gasoline engine sounds, but SOMEthing to evoke that feeling, y'know? I'll bet if one of the manufacturers actually put something like that together, in a dedicated little sports coupe or convertible, it'd sell like Big Macs...to a small, esoteric slice of EV buyers... Still, I think it'd be cool... Anyway, I myself and FAR from sold on the Cyber truck thing; frankly, the name just turned me off from the onset, followed by, well, everything else...
ОтветитьThe fact that there's no protective coating on the metal, and Tesla says that if you get bugs or road salt on it you need to wash it daily is insane.
ОтветитьLoved everything about this video (maybe except having to translate prehistoric measurements into kilometres)! Keep up the excellent work!!!!
