ОтветитьI’ve struggled much of my life with anxiety, ocd, depression, intrusive thoughts and overthinking. I am so grateful I found this channel. I began my awakening process last year and I still struggle with my ego. I had a couple of failed careers that have caused me to have a hard time trusting my ability to be successful. I am working a little harder day by day to shift my beliefs and to trust and have more confidence in my higher self with my next career field I’m about to enter. I took action and did an amazing job repairing my car yesterday but today the overthinking set in of the “what if you didn’t tighten things enough” thoughts tortured me all day until I rechecked all of my work and found they were all tight.
This video helped me immensely. Much appreciated.

Ответитьwhat to do when the anxiety is provoked by doubts and not being able to take a decision and the fear to take the wrong decision that can change the life completely? I cannot be just an observer in this case.

When I am overthinking my therapist said I should leave the bed or room I’m in to immediately break it. Wash my wrists and hands with warm water and feel how it feels. That’s to break up the habit. Aaron is right, stop labeling yourself as anxious, overthinker, etc

ОтветитьInformative video. Be careful what you feed your mind. To feel better reduce negative thoughts and overthinking. Avoid comparing, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed, avoid moving too much and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, when reading, in the kitchen, when taking a walk etc -----anytime-anywhere. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. ОтветитьThe thoughts, It will come back, but it just testing us to see if we are affect by them. So we allow them, they leave by it’s own. It’s not true, just allow them to be, the truth that they are here but their meaning and their judge are not true, it’s fake. That’s self acceptance

ОтветитьThe mind creates so many imagined threats and illusory problems in an attempt to reach security and safety; but it's a never ending cycle. Mindfulness helps calm the mind. I like the workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels for relaxing.
