But I guess if he never did what he did, his daughter would have never moved to America and we would have never had Christopher Walken.

I was a professional genealogist for years, Native American genealogy at that, I did not have the DNA database that you have now. It's easy now, cotton swab, wait a few weeks, and there it is, all done for you basically. Genealogy used to be almost like an art form.

What's really amazing is how old his grandfather "Egen" was, what year he was born.....my gosh..he was going to prison in 1883, He must have been born during the civil war at a minimum....and then fathered a child when he was 40 or 50. And his own mother must have been pretty old when she gave birth to him, about 40 something, if she was born at the turn of the century.

Pentonville prison is in north London not outside and it's still in use. It's one of the most worse prisons in Britain due to it's age and is known for infestations of rats and crumbling infrastructure .

Chris grandma is very beautiful, no wonder he leaves him for a better future for his grandchildren named Christopher.

I’d be afraid to do this because I have a similar situation with my great grandfather. He may or may not been a “well respected” man in Mexico and I’m not quite sure why because he just owned some farm land. All his pictures look like a mug shot 😭

My grandad was a wonderful man, as tough as they come. A proper londoner and a kind man. He and my grandmother earned an award for fostering over 200 children. I speak to some of them to this day. My grandparents are not with me anymore but I think of them all the time, they died over 30yrs ago.

I have the same birthday as Mr. Walken and Eric Clapton. I am a little like both of them, similar looks, a pretty good guitarist and very entertainingly weird!

You have to be prepared when you start shaking your faqmily tree. You never know who is going to fall out of your shady branches. My Grandmother always said that. It turns out she was right. I found out later, my divorced grandmother had an affair with my eye doctors father. She would travel by train in the '40s or '50s from Billings, Montana to Chicago to hook up with him at the eye doctors convention. I never knew this when I went to grade school, junior high and high school with his granddaughter. This girl never knew either, I think.

Crazy how easy it is for people to find family yet I have lived almost my entire life with no family because my mother is closed adoption and the rest of my family is from small islands like the farore islands and Iceland and such
