Looks like a dumb movie due to the writers clearly not knowing anything about spiders. Why would a spider just eat all of the feathers off a bird and leave so much meat intact? The absence of webbing other than to wrap up specifically a human, yet the reasoning for the lack of webs before was that the prey appeared to be paralyzed. Which is interesting since it resembles a black widow so much.

i actually really missed the classical giant spider horror genre.
All started out with the "Arachnophobia" movie series which wasn't even about giant spiders just more so a honestly horrific take on tarantulas.
Thought 8 legged freaks would bring that ol horror back with the 8 legged friends but nope. Turned it into a damn comedy. Now THIS? looks like their actually trying to bring those ol horror vibes back and i'm here for it.

I know this is just a movie for fun, but as a spider and tarantula owner, I will tell you that none of this is true lol Please don't let another shit horror movie that portrays these animals negatively make you scared or more scared of spiders. They are our friends in the world and we actually need them. <3
