Mannnn there’s something so special about watching someone play outer wilds for the first time. I’d argue the best part of outerwilds is getting your friends to play it and watching new people react to it

I had three "oh no" moments at the beginning of Echoes, all driven by the "Reduced Frights" message at the start:
- When I picked up the Artifact and saw "Conceal" as an option. "Oh, no. I don't like THAT."
- When I walked into the first fire room. "Oh. oh no."
- When I first woke up and saw the Owlks were gone. "oh NO."

Ah, dang it, I was really hoping you wouldn't be so resourceful and go to sleep with the artifact. I just feel like it's maybe more satisfying to not discover that until late after you've followed all the breadcrumbs. Oh well. Definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of the playthrough.

Oh my god, I did the same thing with using the scout launcher for the slide reels, it really messed up my playthrough. It made me think that the reels only existed for lore, and didn't have any importance to puzzles.

the hal joke is by far one of the high points of the dlc

Considering the end of the game, calling it a “coffin” is pretty morbidly ironic.

Jeez. I had no idea you can use the ship log to mark locations inside the Stranger! (Not that there are so many locations, but that sure would have helped.) I wonder if they added that text with Slate near the launch pad because people like me had no idea you could do that..

That's the 1st time I've EVER seen anybody get killed by the lauch pad elevator, I didn't even know you could die that way, lolol.

Lol, I havent played all the DLC yet, but have put a good days play in and was like "she could go off In a completely different direction than me so best beat it entirely first... well what could she find in the first hour?" Turns out I didnt try very hard to get on top of the dam... looks like ill have to revisit this after I do actually beat it lol.
