Wow…..
ОтветитьThat's hot for a 200 gr bullet. I do love 7 mag
ОтветитьScope way to high. That's ridiculous
ОтветитьI’ve fitted my xbolt 7mm rem mag with a proof 1/8” TR and load this bullet but haven’t checked the speed. It shoots 1/2” groups at 100 yards. What powder and how many grains you using?
ОтветитьYou got any 280 AI uploads, R. Dubb?
ОтветитьNo everyone reloads
ОтветитьI hope other rifle manufacturers realize you don't have to follow saami specs for rifle twists. They can easily be modified.
Ответить7 rem mag was what my dad and grandpa always said was the sweet spot of do everything rounds
ОтветитьLet's see the 7 Backcountry do that.
ОтветитьDamn you, I had just thought I was set on a 7PRC also
ОтветитьWhat is the accuracy of that 1:8 twist with those 195g bullets
Ответить195 grains at over 3000 fps. No pressure signs. Reject modernity, return to 7mag.
ОтветитьImagine the weight that would have if it was a flat base, short ogive, wide meplat design for deep woods hunting. At that length it would be like 230-240 grains or heavier for full diameter and easily 220+ for a bore riding design...I need to design and make my own bullets. I have ideas. I want to know if they will work as I think they will.
Ответить195gr 7mm @ 3000+ FPS IS FKN HOT 🔥, !!!!!
ОтветитьHow long is that barrel? I know they made a 26 inch. Thats still pretty insane
ОтветитьHoly Hanna 195 going over 3000 fps …I like it
ОтветитьThey need to make a 300 rum that fits a magazine correctly with heavier 30 caliber ammunition. If they did that you could say goodbye to the 300 PRC
ОтветитьAll the guys that went out and bought a 7prc crying 😭
ОтветитьAint not'n wrong with the 7mm Rem Mag. Thank you Les Bowman and Mike Walker!
ОтветитьSo, what is the oal of this cartridge?
ОтветитьHonestly, that loadout right there will beat most off the shelf 300 WinMag cartridges. I’m sure the pricing is still roughly 2 dollars up to five dollars per shot, but you have to pay to play. If my math is correct it’s actually producing more kinetic energy than a 180 grain 300 with bag out of a 24 inch barrel.Although I would not say that bullet is adequate for massive kinetic energy dump. It would probably be superior against steel or any type of body armor after 500 yards.
ОтветитьThat’s very impressive!
ОтветитьCall me intrigued...this might be my next rifle
ОтветитьIf it was zero pressure, the bullet would not come out of the case don’t be stupid. 😂
ОтветитьWhat is your impression of the matte bluing on the xbolt barrel?
ОтветитьPRECISION SHOOTING Magazine had an article concerning "Dumping Vs Swirling" the powder into the case. From then on i've tilted my case / funnel and swirled the powder against the side of the funnel. ☆
ОтветитьWOW! Right in the sweet spot!
Great Rifle!
Won’t the 195 elite hunters also stabilize in a 1:9 twist?
Ответить😮 really all that work, when you can get shells right off the shelf.. with an inch and a half of gap between your optic and bore-line... Accurate isn't really your big goal is it?
ОтветитьWhat kind of barrel do you have on there? Bull-barrel? Seems like that would shoot out that barrel in short order if it was a normal hunting barrel. Thoughts…comments?
Ответить7mm SWC & 180gr ELD-M for the win ! 🏁
(Sherman Wild Cat)
That’s a lot. How was the accuracy? I usually start at 300yds my first group then keep going further. 100yds doesn’t tell me much. I want to know what it’s doing at actual hunting distances which is for me usually always 300+yds in my 7STW.
ОтветитьMy 7STW stabilizes the 195gr well with a 1:9 twist in a 26” Krieger 4-groove.
ОтветитьWell with factory 1 in 8 7mm’s who needs the prc
ОтветитьI have 30-06. My 4 family members have the 7 mm rem mag. I am thinking of getting the Tikia 7 mm LH bolt. What are your thoughts?
ОтветитьWow, so I bought a 7 PRC for nothing
ОтветитьExcellent video! 3,932 ft.lbs.! Out of a 7mm Remington Magnum! What was the barrel length? Most current X-bolts are showing 26" barrels. Can you say what the propellant was?
ОтветитьRespect
ОтветитьGreat ballistic coefficient
ОтветитьThat primer got flattened. I would be okay with that, but it isn't "zero pressure."
ОтветитьAnd goes the show that the 7 mm PRC IS MOOT
ОтветитьGot a Sako with a 28” Bartlien barrel, 1/9 twist. It’s a hammer.
ОтветитьNo pressure signs bulshit did you see the primer was flat that's the main indicator your pressure signs are too high
ОтветитьWith is bullet best BC
ОтветитьReloading whit IMR 4350, my friend..?
ОтветитьThat was 3k with a 195 grain pill?
That is a serious load.
If I re barreled a tikka could I do the same or would the mag be an issue?
ОтветитьWhat is the barrel length on your Browning? Excellent video!
ОтветитьLove my 7mm mag and ultra mag to
ОтветитьWhat was the charge and powder to get that
Ответить
