This is so stressing even if you know how it turns out... great scene
ОтветитьIt was a test
ОтветитьTommy, you didn't get Henry. You got the whole audience. Take a bow.
ОтветитьJoe Pesci delivering some F bombs here...
ОтветитьWow..its awesome needing 26 people talking over each other
ОтветитьShhhhh!
ОтветитьI love watching a bunch of people destroying one of the greatest scenes ever made.😢
ОтветитьStop talking over the dialogue, god y'all are annoying
ОтветитьWhat i love is how all the reactors are negotiating like they're actually sitting in front of him. "Naw man, its just that it's a funny story. You told it and made it funny."
"I mean, you're telling the story for a laugh right?"
This is a classic wise guy test... You can cuck and turn tail and let it go and slink away, and they kill you. Or you can speak up for yourself. It's a test.
ОтветитьHe may fold under questioning. lol
ОтветитьGood one to catch fakers -- when they look concerned as soon as Liotta says "you're funny", not waiting for Pesci to slowly turn the screw.
ОтветитьGoodfeathers!
ОтветитьYeah, this is big adult person cinema, not some rom-com, dumbed down comedy, paint-by-numbers drama or the like. Can't take the crashing waves in the deep water, then stay on shore or in the 3 ft. end.
ОтветитьHelluvan edit work here, man..!! 👍🏼
U really showed the reactors being played by Scorsese and his scenes like a fiddle. 😂
When you find out that most of this was improvised by Pesci, you realize why he won an Oscar for this role.
ОтветитьI love the fact that the whole thing is improvise, meaning what do you mean I’m funny? Funny how that’s why he was stuck because no one knew he was going to do that great actor
ОтветитьCan u all just shut up and watch for god sake man! Nuke us
ОтветитьI love how this scene still gets people after all these years.
ОтветитьFun fact: this whole scene was actually improvised by Joe Pesci. He revealed in an interview that it was a conversation he overheard 2 wise guys in a bar saying and implemented it into the movie. The director Martin Scorsese loved it so much he decided to keep it in the final cut
ОтветитьTommy, in real life, was a piece of scum that deserved what he got. Can't deny he loved his mama, though.
ОтветитьTommy was one of the greatest characters in modern-day cinema
ОтветитьAfter the movie came out, people were quoting and referencing this scene all the time. Tom Hanks, of all people, parodied it in an SNL sketch.
Ответитьbunch of yapping over dialogue. Annoying
ОтветитьHe’s in a room full of yes man not cause he’s funny but they’re scared of him
ОтветитьIronically the guy asking Joe pesci for the money is a real mobster. He went to jail a few years ago for something mob related.
ОтветитьHe knows that everyone is scared of him and will fake-laugh to not insult him and (possibly) get killed. Everyone around him is fake, and it pisses him off. He can never be truly, honestly, funny.
ОтветитьPerhaps don’t talk over the dialogue?
ОтветитьDo people under 40 know how to shut the hell up and listen to a movie???
ОтветитьRIP Ray Liotta
ОтветитьI would love to see the reactions of him killing Spider
ОтветитьYou should do some sopranos scenes maybe some controversial scenes
ОтветитьYou should do a compilation of the Spider shooting.
ОтветитьI hate group reactions because people TALK over the scene which defeats the purpose
ОтветитьI would love to see a reaction to Tommy getting ‘made.’
ОтветитьOne of the greatest scenes ever.
ОтветитьThey all talk to damn much.
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьGoodfellas and Casino are my absolute favorite gangster movies but Joe Pesci is king man!
ОтветитьPeople talk when they’re nervous
ОтветитьGood fellas Greatest Gangster flick in the World
ОтветитьThe funniest part in the film is when Tommy gets whacked.... Shame he wasn't neutralized as a kid.
ОтветитьAhhh the man engery how truly refreshing the undertone of violence that anyman is capable of dominating one a other by force force ones will and ideals apon a other...what a beautiful thing
ОтветитьANOTHER great one, sir. Well done!
ОтветитьYou all go get your fuckin shine box!
ОтветитьAnd now the Goodfeathers make sense...
Whatta mean sense? Cents? What am I? Some sort of banker for Willy Wonka? Wadda mean CENTS!?
Na, na, I'm just sayin you make sense is all.
So I make sense? THAT'S IT! 💥✊🫵💨🎇 🪶
"Funny like a clown? Like I'm here to amuse you?"
A line that gets quoted weekly in my house.
👏 👏 👏
ОтветитьJoe Pesci based this on an actual interaction he witnessed between mobsters. It's clear most of the reactors don't have a grasp of street guy etiquette, as this type of scenario wouldn't be out of the ordinary for wise guys.
ОтветитьIf I wanted to operate a channel, what kind of work needs to be done to CREATE a screenfull of faces and voices that...nevermind.
God, this crap is mindless idiocy at it's highest level.
Hey viewers!!!!
