I think Lelouch never explains himself because he values the end and not the means as he showed again and again. For him it doesn’t matter how a resul is achieved. The result is the result regardless.
Putting it into words, in his mind it doesn’t matter why he geassed Euphie, in the end the result was her death and no amount of explanations or excuses will change that. So why bother giving any? Let people despise him for he is the first to despise himself.
I think this is his main strength and weakness at the same time, for much of the problems he faces down the road are born from this mindset.

The difference is, Lelouch sacrificed his life so the world will forget about racism and stuff and work together to stop him. Basically, 'villain' steps were needed to do a heroes job
But Light was overall still bad. Sure, he reduced global crime rates by 70% and stopped all wars by enforcing fear into the world, but also would kill any criminals. Even if they had to spend like only 2 years in prison. They can still make up for their crimes and death is totally unjustified. Light is also a narcissist and believes he should be the god of the world

Both ideas of removing oppressive powers and changing oppresive powers within worked to not only completely change the system but keep it changed by working together. Lelouch ofc couldve changed the system alone but bc Suzaku was such a positive light for britanians seeing Japanese defending them it helped the merge to see Japanese as real people bc they wanted to not bc they had to. Amazing analysis!

Can’t lie no one knows this but code geass and Gundam seed/seed destiny are both really similar (also both by sunrise company) both characters are massiah Like charecter and the plot too so watch it if u like code geass :)

Something interesting I noticed was C.C. stating something along the lines of how Geass grants you what you desire most. Hence why she got a Geass that made people love her. Which made me believe Lelouche's greatest desire above all else is to control people, hence his affinity for chess and tactics. He likes games where he commands pieces to do his every bidding, and part of me feels like Lelouche recognized his own twisted desires and came to the conclusion that he isn't fit to change the world, hence the Zero Requiem

I had to stop watching this anime because I was starting to feel ashamed to be watching such a lame anime. Code Geass is embarassing

I think its also worth noting that both Lelouch and Suzaku were disingenous at the beginning.

Lelouch talked about changing the world through revolution but he was driven more by revenge and hatred than any genuine concern for the world. Suzaku who talked about changing the world peacefully was only looking for a place to die. Not that a part of them didnt want to change the world but it was far from their main drive.

But at the end, there are no more lies. They are both fully committed to a gentler world and I believe thats why theyre finally "allowed" to work together and solve everything.

Most of or say every diehard code geass fans compare him with light yagami.I agree light became a psychopath and was the psychopath all the time.But the death note corrupted him took his humanity then he became kira.

If he wasn't corrupted he wouldve become a great detective like L himself or rather surpassed him somehow and yeah he used death mote in the right way killing criminals he wanted to change the he didn't use the death note for his prophet.

And yeah most of them say light is less smarter than lelouch but i think they are equally smart.And lelouch is better in him in all aspects instead of smartness.

He is not even a good character
His backstory was told in the beginning of the anime and we have no reason to care about his revenge because there is no flashback of Marianne to get to know her
Why should we care about her
Is that because lelouch cares ?
That is just lazy writing
Most of lelouch 's character depend of him losing the people he lives but it doesn't matter because those characters themselves are badly written and no interesting
His conclusion had no build up and doesn't make sense.
