The reclining position is best while drinking beer and fishing and let's not forget a fine cigar as well. Never kayak for exercise or sport, it's purely a recreational floating device. The paddles are to swat critters or other nefarious individuals.
ОтветитьI barely made it through the 15 second intro. So hard to watch and im a beginner myself 😂😂
Ответить💖😇☀️❤️⭐🌞💝❣️♥️
ОтветитьThanks for the informative video
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks!!!
ОтветитьKayaked once as a senior and broke all of these recommendations. Had a ton of pain the entire time on the water. I was glad to get out of the boat. Mostly had the wrong life jacket, the thick back and front regular one for boating and the wrong size anyway. It kept riding up to my chin. It chaffed under my arms. My back hurt the WHOLE time. It was so uncomfortable. Terrible time getting in and out of the thing because I did all the no nos you mentioned in your video. Bruised myself. Afterward had to carry the heavy thing. Awful day, except for the company, and I never wanted to do it again. Your video really opened my eyes. If it’s done right it should be pleasurable.
Ответитьgreat video!
ОтветитьGreat info! How do you get out onto a deck or pier if there isn't a ramp or shoreline?
ОтветитьI laughed my butt off, this was so me lmaooo. Thanks for the tips :P
ОтветитьThe end of this month will be my first time in a kayak. Thanks for this video!!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful
ОтветитьWhat if I have to pee?
ОтветитьWonderful video
ОтветитьI just bought my first kayak today. This video is golden. Thanks from your new subscriber!
ОтветитьWell, you made me belly laugh! Some good tips there. I'm hoping to take this back up again - the water is calling 😊 Thank you for this video x
ОтветитьLove this. I have been out on it twice. I did make my own stabilizers for it. Just makes me feel more safe when I’m far out
ОтветитьI am a big 6-1 and 350 lbs, what is a good kayak for someone my size?
ОтветитьDon't get dead!
ОтветитьLove this intro!
ОтветитьIt just hit me...this guy sounds like Kevin Costner hah.
ОтветитьGood. But, why don’t you get OUT reversing the proper get IN? Thanks
ОтветитьI have just started kayaking and I really appreciate the way you demonstrate and explain what you are teaching. 👍🏻
ОтветитьWish I would have watched this video BEFORE I got into a kayak for the first time yesterday!
ОтветитьBy the way, I 💕 your videos..I'm sooo excited to implement these strategies..I 💕 to kayak .but honestly, I was so hesitant to kayak alone..I continue to review your videos..over and over and over!!?!
ОтветитьI'm sorry..can you spell the name of the reasonably priced paddle that you recommend?
ОтветитьThe life jacket you recommend is the Cadence for $110. Which one is $20?
ОтветитьAm an older woman who plans to go out to a local nature center and go kayaking within a few days. I loved this and the other videos of yours that I watched. Thanks for them.
ОтветитьGood, concise advice
As president of a kayak club for 16 years, I would advise new members to first buy a good PFD,then a quality paddle. Test out as many kayaks as possible before making the big investment and possible mistake. If they decided not to pursue the sport after buying the PFD and paddle, it was easier to find a member in the club who needed an extra, but difficult to sell the " wrong " kayak.
Again great video for beginners 😊
cute instructor. Nice vid. Thank you for the tips
ОтветитьBoy, am I glad this wasn't a "stroke" video...... 😅
ОтветитьWHAT DOES PFD STAND FOR
ОтветитьGreat tips. Cheers! 🤓
ОтветитьPersonally loved the silliness of the begining! And also appreciated the safety and gear info, no joke about that. Great vid
ОтветитьWhat brand is your life jacket?
Thanks!
👿
ОтветитьExcellent video thank you! I’ve been making some of these mistakes and came to Google to find out how to correct them.
What’s also crucial is learning the difference between saltwater and freshwater boats and safety. Lots of people have zero clue about sea kayaks; that’s next level stuff.
👍👍👍👍👍👍 thank you!!!!
ОтветитьMy cousin recently got a kayak, im trying to get one too, (we both like vessels that go on the water) we'd like to create a tiny fleet with us. With that information out of the way, i need to tell you how we launched it and if it is an okay way to launch. We went to the mountains a couple days ago (jubilee lake, oregon) and he used his kayak there for the first time. our campground was next to the lake but it had a muddy cliff. my uncle and him pushed the kayak into the water making it fall off that tiny 8 foot drop. Is that okay to do? I'd love to know as I want to purchase my own in the near future.
ОтветитьUltimate rack guide hmmm
ОтветитьIs it safe to fish in a regular kayak like this
ОтветитьThanks to you my first experience kayaking was a success. I didn't make an ass of myself, so thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video but something else worth mentioning for newbies - today was my first day kayaking on a lake and I nearly got rolled by the wake from a boat. I remembered the movie Perfect Storm and the next time a wake was coming towards me I pointed the kayak into it instead of letting it hit me sideways. When I got home that was the first thing I looked up.
ОтветитьIs this video in PA ?
ОтветитьThis is a great video for beginners, thank you.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьWas once out at lake mead with my friends, they pushed me out in the water in a kayak. It was windy and the water was crazy, I can't swim like that either, I managed to maneuver my way back to land. So glad I didn't tip over.
ОтветитьThanks for great advice and tips for a newbie!
