As a guy who’s loved Pokémon since practically birth and recently started getting into Xenoblade Chronicles, this was absolutely incredible.

Everything, editing, vocals, disses, was all fantastic.

Tough call but this is one of your cleanest projects yet. The video is so pretty, Ash's first verse has some of my favourite editing in a while. Voice acting is super slick as well, community veteran alongside a fresh and talented name is a really satisfying combo. The beat editing to make it sound like the Pokemon battle theme is just really effective at sounding hype. And of course you never cease to amaze me with your great writing that doubles down as a huge representation of your knowledge and love on the characters. Stellar job man!

As for the winner; Imma say Rex pretty easily, but this rap battle was amazing

This was awesome. I love how the beat switched up from a hyped up beat for ash to a more serious beat to rex. The voice for ash is pretty spot on. I haven't played any of the Xenoblade games, so I don't know how good the voice of rex is, but overall this was a great battle.

An absolutely great job here! Flow and their respective bars were great, although I think Rex barely took the W, that “switching dubs” verse was what sealed it for me.

This was phenomenal for sure. I’m not too knowledgeable on Xenoblade Chronicles, so it helped that there was information for Rex as well as Ash in the description. I decided to read that before watching this video, and even some of the disses to Rex based on things I didn’t previously know about still hit.
I honestly expected you to get Peachumari or JesseBoxVO for an Ash Ketchum VA, but surprisingly, garbageGothic’s voice impression is quite fascinating (also, I hope she isn’t being overworked with this now being the third (I believe) rap battle of yours she’s been part of; as talented as she is, she, like everyone, deserves a needed break every one in a while). I also appreciated the writing; the various multisyllabic rhymes and uses of wordplay as disses definitely hit for me (such examples can be seen in Ash’s opening lines, his fifth to eighth lines of his first verse, Rex’s ninth and tenth lines of his first verse, the “Lose that Pokémon” line, the second-round disses (Mecha Evolution being a pun on Mega Evolution and followed by Dragon Ball Z-Move, a pun on Z-Moves), the ending line for each character, the internal rhymes of “Stop the cap, Ash”-“Such a cash grab”, and the “[S]witch dubs” homophonous rhyme scheme). A winner would be difficult to pick for this rap battle, and I’d consider this to overall be a tie. If I had to pick a winner, however, I probably would go with Ash Ketchum, but barely, as Rex’s performance was also fantastic! Ash slightly had better disses overall, while Rex had the better use of wordplay (and he won the second for me, so there’s that, too). Close rap battles like these are one I will certainly enjoy, as it shows that there is no intentional winner with them, something sane FRB creators should learn not to do. Good job and shoutout to everyone involved in this project.
Soon, my chance for me and my friend’s idea will become reality (while this channel is the main priority, it might not every feature our WIP), but in the meantime, there are raps like these to forever entertain me (and plus there is no set release date for “our” project; it’ll be constantly updated with new, relevant information). This was such a amazing battle! The editing was great mixing handrawn sprites and footage from the games and shows.

Can't say anything about the writing since I'm not too famillar with Xenoblade.
